I totally think women over react. Don't take what someone says so literally and feel the need to pick it apart. You aren't here for compliments, you're here to better yourself for your horse! I'm a female, and I'm damn glad to hear someone say this to everyone out there! You may be called an "ass" or "sexist" but I get called plenty of other things myself, and I'm the same gender as them!
For anyone interested, a double/tripple looped/braided military 550 cord will also work for this if you're short on money/material as far as practicing goes.
Beside your woman thingy - i'm a male learning horse back riding and your tip is basic stuff. "The more you do it, the more better you become and never forget levrage!"
i dont get how women get so affended by ur vids im a women and i love watching them they just i geuss think they know everything and dont need to know more i just dont get it XD
rick just saying, not arguing i agree with you about the holding the reins by there sides, but there are a lot of people that i know that ride that ride like but can get the muscle they need, the only reason is because they go to the gym and do workouts where you pull the weight behind you in that motion so our muscles are pretty big i dont like riding like that because its uncomfortable, again not arguing just saying
This is irrelevant but the other day I was at the library reading a horse health book just killing time before work, and I read this one page about reducing stress in your horse, and there was this one paragraph about some horses "being bullies because they are insecure and don't have any friends". I couldn't help but laugh my ass off, and then everyone gave me a death stare for being loud, so I left. There should be a law restricting stupid people from getting their stupid books published
Haha our barn has a no gossip policy.. but even then I still hear people talking about "That's a bad horse.. he's disobedient, hes spooky, blah blah blah" thanks for the video rick! :D
@SexyHaras :lol actually 312, the others are unlisted and only linked to my site, so they don't show up unless you click on the link in my site. But thanks for Woot woot woot..... hehe
I really appreciate your advice. I just recently got thrown from the saddle when my mare spooked, and I'm more or less retraining myself from your videos. Building my courage back up, so to speak. You have a very detailed way of speaking, and it is a great help. Keep up the good work, and looking forward to your next video! :D
