fatalities are hard. you have to do a series of button pressing. and it has to be perfect.

Its simple, Deception is the better of the three, 2 fatalities, hara kiri, great features, great roster, GREAT konquest. Its just awesome! . Deadly Alliance is second IMO but it lacks in Konquest & Fatalities as well as additional features - however i believe that its character roster is better than Deception. Armageddon may have all the characters but the game is so poor, it just all around sucks... not much unlockable features... no individual fatalities and the features are just plain stupid.

MK Deadly Alliance was the only one weak mk game. Deception is 100x better. Every fighter has his/her own voice, 2 fatalities & Hara-Kiri, catchy storyline.

Scorpion, Liu Kang, Jade, Mileena, Ermac, Shao Kahn, Kabal and Ermac are my favs in this game.

Mortal Kombat is my all time favorite game but Deception is special part of the series - every fighter has 2 great fatalities; there were introduced many new characters; every fighter had Hara-Kiri (new great note in the series); every character has his/her own voice...

He Orion/Mr.genesis or someone could you direct me on how to do the pop up combos in the temple training area. i cant really preform them properly they're the ones where you have to press l1 at the end etc.

Death-traps aren't new feathure. Well kinda are. On MK3 there was certain fatalities for maps, but no instant kill stuff like push other off the cliff.

yes but in the Zonbie version which I think is better. If you are traying to get a Mortal Kombat game from this generation this is the best choice. I think this have to be the goriest an MK game ever have been.

i like deadly alliance too but yeah deception is the best of the new generation MK probably b/c of the gore in this game.

Deception plays really well, the problem is that the roster sucks.

Seriously. No Johnny Cage, no Kung Lao, no Kitana, no Jax, no Kano, no Sonya, no Reptile. Instead, make way for Sindel, Tanya, Nightwolf, and new characters that are just ripped off from the old ones (Kobra, Kira) or just suck and aren't involved with the plot (Darrius, Dairou).

i actually think it works pretty well. it adds to the darkness of the game that all the major characters were "dead," and that liu kang returned as a zombie. Also, b/c all the old characters (w/ the obvious exception of the ninjas) were not in the game, there was more room to add a lot to the MK story. As much as I hated playing Konquest, the back story was pretty cool
