i mean, seriously... dream team from day one: first the 7" single he enlists john atkins, the bassist for not only 764-fucking-hero, but also for red stars theory. tim rutili of califone, john orth of fucking holopaw... brian deck of red red meat... i mean, jesus christ. i love modest mouse and all that, but ugly casanova represents everything i love about music. i can't even begin to list the sheer amount of good times i've had with ugly casanova as the soundtrack. apologies for geeking out.

i wish more than most things that i could have seen ugly casanova live. i found out about them the year after they toured. had i been the 16 year old version of myself in 2002, seeing ugly casanova would have been a transcendental experience.

@teentimeparty they only did one solid tour, about 25 dates in 2002, and a few shows the previous years in seattle only.

@mdj2010 I've got a couple of White Stripes videos from 2001 that have been up for over 2 years and have never come close to reaching the 2000 views mark. This is just not a popular channel.
