  • how much was this?

  • Cool Dude im about to get the same thing for my first.

  • not verry fast is it

  • lol this car is slow... you can buy a traxxas rustler xl-5 for the same price and the traxxas can go 35mph plus

  • it not go faster ? brushed or brushless ? if it brushed buy this guy a brushless only 250 dollars and hit 65 mph and a tip for jumping when your noise is down give gas when your noise is up Brake

  • 70 come on at me (waterproof)

  • 70 come on at me

  • Nice video editing

  • where can i buy those ramps

  • @warnher in a toy store or hobby shop

  • @bjornke123456789 lol ive been looking everywhere for these and can only find them in a sk8 shop for like 140.00.

I have two 4 foot ramps but they are to big.

  • @warnher make them look for a tut on youtube

  • Mines stock and it goes 24 mph

  • My name is Shawn and my first rc car was the tamiya hornet

  • unarme my hpi savage upgraded can do 94 chill out

  • My stock slash with the 12t gose faster it dose 27 mph lol

  • My Rustler Vxl (waterproof) Do 64 Mph Dude cmon

  • yes you can i have the same one but i have a castle creation mamba max 5700 kv and it will do about 70 mph but to make a stock go faster set the gear ratio a little higher depending on wat you want it to do

  • It really is the battery slowing him down. I have the same car with a 5300 mah bat and it's 3 times faster than what your seeing now.

  • @kyoden1 battery capacity is not what gives you speed, it only gives you more run time, a 5300 mah is really no faster than a 2200 mah, in fact the 2200 mah will have more punch, it just wont run as long, you get ur speed from the voltage, a matched pack with good voltage say 1.2 volts per cell will give you 7.2 volts but a pack with cells that put out 1.4 volts per cell will give you 8.4 volts! more volts more speed! if you want to go fast you cant go cheap on the battery

  • @qwezzie Higher capacity cells will give a greater resistance to depleting voltage, ie, they take longer before the voltage is too low. This comes from just a much better made cell, with less internal resistance and such. A higher capacity battery (from a good company) will resist voltage drop under load better, giving a greater punch, much harder acceleration and the slightly higher voltage of each cell (Your 1.4v is irrelevant, as that is under no load) will give you a slightly better top end.

  • i have tht car is nice but it needs more power it just fun to hit jump with and like go aorund with

  • @jackuserjack omg i know but the kid in the video is besides was i even talking to you

  • haaha got the same one and it goes 80 miles

  • lol,my rcplane has 78mph

    FWOOOOOSH!

  • i have a micro t and a can go to 30 mph

  • I backflip mine.

  • only 19 mph that sucks

  • haha shit battery and motor

  • what is the best kind of battery for this specific rc car cuz i use a venom 1800 NiCd

  • that was my first rc car also my dad bought me it when i was 10 i still have it love it

  • what is the level of your batt, was that a 7.2 mAh ?

  • 19 mp/h can't you make it faster ??? I guess you can but I have no idea about electrics :D 5/5

  • @MusTanGPrOx I was using a low mAh battery and this is the brushed version. For another couple hundred you could buy the brushless version and really scoot.

  • @joehandsome99 I know your a begginer and all but mAh only determines run time so the more mAh the longer the runtime not more power

  • Hi, I have the nitro version of the Firestorm 10t and I really love it, I recomend it to you if you want something faster

  • @simoniaquoino thanks for watching and the suggestion.

  • @simoniaquoino dude the flux version would be faster and easier then the nitro

  • awsome transitions

  • @4bluethunder Thanks

  • im getting this truck today

  • Reminds me of my first RC I had a rusler when they first came out ten years ago. I still have it. I run a modified motor in it now with a huge battery. it will cornhole some of the new brushless stuff LOL! nice vid

  • wat all do you have to change over to make it brushless????

  • I have two of them. Thanks for watching.

  • got the same car and mine will do 65 mph brushless

  • Thats great. Thanks for watching.

  • I own the Firestorm 10T Flux Brushless amazing car

  • Cool!

  • got the same car myn does about 35-40 mph

  • yeha me 2 i use a 7 cell nimh 1500

  • I had a low mAh battery in it for this video, but you are right about the speed. Its there.

  • how do you do that first transition

  • battery?

  • Yes, a low mAh battery was used in the video. It will run faster than 19 mph.

  • it has a 15turn motor and it only goes 19MPH?

  • 10T firestorm FLux = 60 mph :D

  • cool....but i got the hpi NITRO firestorm....

    and it goes 51mph!!!!!!!!

  • if any1 is looking for a hpi e-firestorm 10t let me know, its in like new condition, used 2 charges and has been sitting since

    7.2v venom battery

    prophet sport charger

  • nice truck! great video!

    keep em comin

  • why is he going so slow, mines quick

  • probably the battery

  • 19 is slow i have a vxl slash it does 30 with 6 cell and 45 with 7 cell

  • wow that truck goes so slow

  • was that top speed?

  • i have a megatech megapro. When its stock it goes 25mph, im putting a brushless motor and high performance esc in it, how much faster will it go?

  • is it the t-100 or the buggy

  • what is the fastest that has gone?

  • the got brushes it can only go up to 20 ..

  • m8t i got a 23cc bigfoot truck 70mph u NEED 2 UPGRADE trust me

  • nice vid, my first RC truck was the Traxxas rustler, man i had some awesome times with that truck, about six years old and still runs!!

  • with out lipo

  • that goes so slow to my Firestrom Flux

  • joehandsome99, what kind of battery are you running?

  • where did you guys get the E Firestorm?

  • Hobby Town USA

  • Thats great

  • Read back through the comments.

  • does any one know of a good nitro rc truck that is under 200

  • shut up

  • what did i do

  • basically no you cant find a nitro for 200 ...UNLESS you buy a chinese nock off i would not recommend it becuase parts are only available on the web and you cant just walk in to your local hs and get parts youll have to wait like 2-4 weeks just go into your lhs and ask ask ask doesnt hurt to ask to many questions in this hobbie and if you have never been in the rc hobbie with hobby grade rc go electric first figure out diffs gear mess and all that first and also working on them youll learn

  • i was gonna get one for my little brothers birthday, but i didnt know what would be good for under $200

  • I know Whats good for over 200 because i have alot of them

  • be a nice bro and hand one of your used nitros down to him!!

  • good idea

  • hmm its 2009 since when does shipping take 2 to 4 weeks i have all my stuff in a week or less with regular shipping

  • being 2009 makes no difference ifyour getting parts from china or surounding places it can take from 5 days up to a month depending on customs you must be thinking of ordering within north america to you

  • why would you order from china? i know your talking about redcat, exceed, hsp, acme those brands but you can get all the parts you need from plenty of places in the u.s. no need to order from china

  • that is the lower model of the firestorm, my dad has to firestorm flux and that thing for sure goes at least 40mph+

  • u shod get a nitro rc there realy fun

  • I have both. thanks.

  • hate electric love nitro :)

  • I have the electric and nitro version of this truck. Both are fun Thanks for watching.

  • i have all three versions and the nitro is deffinately THE FUNNEST!!!!!!

  • cool!

  • hey nice movie i have the car too

  • Thanks for watching.

  • and is that as fast as it gose

  • Thats as fast as the brushed stock version goes. It may go a little faster with some different batteries.

  • what size batteries you got in there?

  • It uses a standard 6 cell 7.2 volt pack.

  • how many MaH is the battery? and how long is the run time with your battery?

  • It is a 6 cell 7.2 volt 3000 mAh NiMH battery made by Venom. The run time is about 10 minutes, shorter if you are running it at full throttle alot.

  • i have a 5000 mah Nimh battery made by Venom. i was just trying to figure out about how long the run time would be about. can you run lipo's in it?

  • The higher the mAh the longer the run time. Yes, you could use a lipo but they are expensive because of the size you would need to really crank this buggy.

  • yes other than them costing more. they run faster and with full voltage the whole time almost. and they run along way longer. i think like a 3800mah lipo would do it

  • Get a 7 cell 7.4 volt pack...

  • hey mad movie how much is that

  • The e-firestorm is around $220

  • wow. shawn's voice has changed quite a bit over the year.

  • Thanks for watching all the vids.

  • It really depends on what you want. They both look cool.

  • I was watching Star Trek when I read your comment and they say that in the movie. Thanks for the comment Astronout07.

  • I've heard that before. Great analogy and thanks for watching Astronout07. BTW, are you a ST fan also?

  • my dad is into the hobby he got me a rustler, stampede, firestorm 10t flux, bandit vxl with 3s lipo, and a t maxx 2.5r

  • Thats great news rcrockslod.

  • that truck can be turned brushless and it would be a beast on the track

  • They sell a brushless version for the firestorm also. Thanks for the tip themanface123.

  • if your going into LIPO batterys talk to me first about taking care of them and other stuff

THE ONLY LIPOS YOU SHOULD BUY IS MAX AMPS THEY ARE THE #1 TOP OF THE LINE batterys

and if ur going brushless the FLUX system is beast i got it in my slash!!!

  • Interesting, Thanks again.

  • Um, no not really.

Max Amps are wayyy over priced.

You can get equal, if not better, quality batteries from Zippy for a fraction of the price...

  • whats the price?

  • A little over $200. It is a decent starter electric truck.

  • thats slow? why so slow my propulse chould do that

  • It is a stock e-firestorm with a standard battery. I knew it would only go about 20 mph when I got it.

    Thanks for watching jessiejames.

  • i wish my dad was into rcs and whould by me 1

ive been saving all summer and 3 of my friends got traxxas's and im still saving for a rustler

  • They are fun, maybe you can get your dad into it and then he will be buying all the neat rc toys. Thanks for watching jessiejames.

  • how fast does it go?

  • I clocked it at 19 mph in the video boomy818.

  • is it a brush less?

  • This version is brushed, but they do make a brushless version of the E-firestorm Oneiva.

  • does e fire storm have reverse like esavage?

  • Yes the e firestorm does have reverse hondatmx.

  • I upgraded my e firestorm now it has a 21

tooth gear , dish wheels, and truck super

    radial t groove tires.

  • That sounds awesome setherey.

  • Thanks joehandsome99!

  • anytime dude.

  • A Petrol Friestorm would go alot faster...., how does it handle??

  • The E-firestorm handles well. I have two nitro firestorms and they are way faster. Check out my nitro firestorm running on the beach stasi04.

  • this is a cool truck..i have a rustler but i like the body style on the firestorm better so i bought a firestorm body for my rustler :P

  • The Rustler is a good RC truck. I look forward to your YouTube video of it Foxprogt.

  • i have a few videos on youtube of its stock performance already and i got the firestorm body in the mail on its way to my house :D

  • Sounds good. Thanks foxprogt.

  • Love the blue e-firestorm

  • Thanks for watching and the comment setherey.

  • Your welcome I have a e-firestorm.

  • Thats great. They are fun. Thanks setherey.

  • The e firestorm is £132 at modelsport :)

I'm getting one for christmas, but it will be my first electric. I'm used to nitro speeds, this seems a little slow :/

I might just Lipo or brushless it :D

  • They sell a brushless model of this E-Firestorm. Going brushless does have some atvantages. Thanks for watching Ibennyn.

  • I got the Flux :D

    Thanks for the reply :)

I have gotta wait till xmas now though :(

I have two Orion rocketpack 5100 6cell batts, I should get about 38mph maybe :D

  • Thats sounds really cool. Cant wait for the video Ibennyn.

  • so this is a pretty good "learner" RC then, not too fast not too slow, not to hard to control either,

and ps. the Hpi firestorm has 20-times the looks compared to the Rustler, so i have no problem spending the extra 20 bucks on the looks, i just hope i can upgrade my firestorm to the flux brushless if they make some sort of kit,

  • That is right, it is an entry level electric rc truck with lots of room to jazz it up. Thanks for watching schultzee.

  • is it nitro it dosnt seem like it

  • It is an E-Firestorm, the E means it is electric jgizz31.

  • Holy cow.. less commentary please. The flux version (this + rebadged Castle Sidewinder Brushless) is a winner.

  • Holy cow.. Thanks for the tips and watching the video pupkick.

  • personally i would go with the rustler,i thinks its a better all round truck even cheaper too

  • The rustler is a good rc truck, but costs more than the e-firestorm. Thanks for watching the video crzygutsnobrdr.

  • really....how much is the firestorm? because ik the rustler is 175

  • Hmmm.... The rustler must not be RTR because the firestorm is crzygutrsnobrdr.

  • must be a bad batt....

  • It had a low battery in the later part of the video. Hey, Thanks for being one of the few that noticed crzy.

  • Is it worth it?

  • It is not a speed demon, just a basic electric RC truck. A good starter model if you dont want to spend alot of money smoked17.

  • How much did it cost.

  • I think it was a little over 200 smoked17.

  • haha.. there;s just soo many choices on the market for an offroad truck that its hard to decide!! everytime i think i've found a particular model i like something else comes around

  • What ever you decide to buy, be sure there is a good supply of replacement parts that can be bought from more than one dealer. If you buy cheap stuff, thats usually what you get. Thanks for the comment michigansas.

  • hey mate,

The thing seems a bit slow. at the moment i'm deciding which rc car to get. This or the Duratrax Evader ST. HELP

  • I have never run an evader, so I dont know the differences. The e-firestorm brushed model isnt a speed demon, but this was for my son to get used to before I let him jump on my nitro trucks.

  • And also, is the E-firestorm good or bad, fast, good for jumping? I just want to know, thankyou!

  • It is a good 2WD electric truck. Runs about 20 mph out of the box. It would be a good first electric rc truck.

  • very nice vid and driving right there!

  • Thanks for the great comment Radliner.

  • you should had a 7 cell battery you will see a big difference in speed wont be ballistic but it will be a little faster. but nice video though.

  • Thanks for watching the video and the tip minor1740.
