You don't actually see Han dead. Sure, he's not seen getting out of the cr in F&F:TD, but when it explodes you don't see a body. Same thing with Letty, and she's coming back, so in all possibility, Han will too. Think about it within the movie. Han was ripping off Takashi, and Kamata. Kamata is Yakuza. Hell, if I was given the chance to escape that, I'd take it.

Maybe Han is not really death because he was going to arrive to Tokyo at the beginning of Fast 4 and also theres a lot of time between Fast 4 and the end of Fast 5 when he is going to travel around Europe with Gisele, so it would be so hard to Tokyo Drift to be the last part, instead there is enough time between Han arriving to Tokyo and Torreto.s call from Rio, for all the Tokyo Drift events. I wont be sure until either they show him after the events of Tokyo drift or what happened to Gisele.

There is the problem, people dont understand that Tokyo Drift is the last movie in fast & furious.
The storyline goes like this : 1,2,4,5,3.
Notice how both in the fourth and fifth movie Han says he wants to go to Tokyo. And in Tokyo Drift he says Tokyo is his Mexico. (Because he escaped there after the job they did in Fast Five)
So if they make a sixth movie, he wont be in it. (Unless that movie has a story before he arrived tokyo)

Yep. Just saw Tokyo Drift for the first time and surprisingly, it made sense after seeing 4 and 5. I know Justin Lin didn't plan on a 4th or 5th after directing Tokyo Drift but he sure as hell made it seem like he did... minus the hot ass woman Han picked up in Fast Five. Sucks that Han was killed in this one, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying Han is one of my favorite characters in this series after Vin and Paul Walker's characters. Hope they make another with him.

There is no date or year in Tokyo drift so it could have happened anytime. All the cars in Tokyo drift would be suitable and tunable at anytime from now to 50 years. Most modders I know don't always go for the latest and most expensive supercars.

@kevinzk71 Thats exactly how it went. In that little dialogue in FF4, Han never said he was going to Tokyo right away. All he said was, "I hear they're doing some3 crazy shit in Tokyo," and then bumps beer bottles with Dom. Thats it.

@miger224 lol I suppose the director doesn't actually care anymore. The models of the cars throw the timeline off... like there's are 2011 Dodge Chargers in "Fast Five", but in "Tokyo Drift"... there are all these older cars...
I think they should just forget he died at all. Like make the other films in like alternate universes (figuratively). Won't be the first time sequels ever done that...
On the other hand, Google "Han Lives". It explains a possibility of how he might have survived :)

There is the problem, people dont understand that Tokyo Drift is the last movie in fast & furious.
The storyline goes like this : 1,2,4,5,3.
Notice how both in the fourth and fifth movie Han says he wants to go to Tokyo. And in Tokyo Drift he says Tokyo is his Mexico. (Because he escaped there after the job they did in Fast Five)
So if they make a sixth movie, he wont be in it. (Unless that movie has a story before he arrived tokyo)

@OleEdits If they didn't kill off Han then they wouldn't have to backtrack and make the order so confusing. If they kept him alive then they can continue making movies with him without Tokyo Drift having to be the last one.

absolutely right. we can't regret choices we've made, so, what's the point in looking back? that's why you gotta do the best where ever and whenever you are.
And there's always a price in doing so. For Han, the price is all about cars.

Yep. Just saw Tokyo Drift for the first time and surprisingly, it made sense after seeing 4 and 5. I know Justin Lin didn't plan on a 4th or 5th after directing Tokyo Drift but he sure as hell made it seem like he did... minus the hot ass woman Han picked up in Fast Five. Sucks that Han was killed in this one, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying Han is one of my favorite characters in this series after Vin and Paul Walker's characters. Hope they make another with him.

There is no date or year in Tokyo drift so it could have happened anytime. All the cars in Tokyo drift would be suitable and tunable at anytime from now to 50 years. Most modders I know don't always go for the latest and most expensive supercars.
