  • Check out all the old stuff.

  • Absolutely "brill" acting, but as an American I was wondering what that spare tire was doing shoved in the engine.

  • @Aestros909 listen again- the dad says it was a bonnettfull. whatever that is. looks like a tire but the brits call it a 'bonnetfull' apparently.

  • @MrFingersniffer He means that there is a lot of stuff in the "bonnet", which is the name used for the hood over there.

  • inflatable sausages

  • When I was a child, I thought the Citroen CX Estate was one of the most impressive cars I'd ever seen. It was gigantic, like some sort of spaceship!

Bad old Chocky, unable to recognise class when she sees it!

  • Nice, an advanced intelligence taking the piss out of a developing species technology. I mean, it would be like a university scientist cracking up about bows and arrows and stuff used by tribespeople.

  • Yeah! Stupid Chocky!

  • Such an incredible screenplay. And God bless the BBC for brilliant acting. Wow, that moment at the car is pretty full-on!

  • It was ITV you pillock!!!!!

  • Yeah .. others have corrected me. I'm a stupid Australian. Sorry about that.

  • Ah mate - now I feel bad!! Your not stupid!!! Tell you what though, shocked to see this programme. Haven't seen it since it was 1st shown when I was about 6 - always, always stayed with me though. You know your getting on a bit when you say "they don't make'em like they used to"!! They really don't!!

  • @lysis28 This was an ITV show, not BBC.
