@lehman You only will keep your exotic pet if you stay BM if you go MM while having it you wont be able to summon it only by going to a stable master and stable it you would be able to have a pet again...a normal pet.
what pet would you suggest would be best for soloing this guy? My primary is my butterfly Aspatha, but would this defiantly be one i would want to go out and train a solid tank-pet like a rhino or turtle? I've been wanting to get some of the old pre-bc raid achievments and was having some trouble finding people willing to give it a go with me. but being able to solo most of the icecrown (zone) group quests, gives me some hope that maybe i can. I would recommend any pet that falls under the 'Tenacity' talent tree. Bears, gorillas and turtles make great tanking pets. The reason for a turtle is for the shell shield spell, which reduces damage taken by 50% for 12 seconds. That is nice if the boss goes into enrage or you miss a heal and need a moment to catch back up.

if u are duel speced and u tame an exotic pet do u need tto stay bm to use it or can u go mm and still have it??
