THANKS TO ALL THE SOLDIER/SAILORS!! I am about to enlist in the navy in April, so my mom is about to become a navy mom. I cried when I watched this, I thought of how my mother supports me in my decission, so thanks to all the mothers!!
Stay in touch with home as much as possible. You can sometimes get caught-up in busy things. Sometime you even want to. But always remember to make a call when you can, even send a tiny note. It might not be much but it means a lot to those we leave back home. Good luck, God bless.
This sounds like a wonderful group. My son is not in Iraq or Afghanistan, however, he is forward deployed many times at sea for many months. He has a dangerous job, and there are many hazzards where he works. I am going to check into this group here in my area.
