Kiss Them For Me - Siouxsie & The Banshees - Rock O Pop - 1991

Does anyone other than me remember Siouxsie and the Banshees performing as part of the original Lollapalooza in 1991?  They were so different than everything else on the stage that day. It was all awesome. Jane's Addiction, Siouxsie, Living Colour, Nine Inch Nails, Ice-T's metal band Body Count, Rollins Band, Fishbone and so on. It was one of the best (if not the best) festival/concerts I have ever seen in the 387 festivals/concerts I have seen.

Wow, great version of the "Kiss" early on I was wondering what the bongo player was doing in there but at 2:52 you learn the reason for you. Siouxsie looks great (best I've ever seen) and the band and audiance look like its a grand time for all. I also like that the keyboard player seems to be pushing is board up the stage as if he really wants to get in the mix (not be left out). Only drawback is that music seems to dubbed to video. Oh well, I still like it.

@Someguyfrom1973 Saw her in NYC in the last US tour before they broke up. The funny thing is the live version of this album was played faster and a LOT heavier than the studio version...thought it was 10x better. Haven't seen a vid of it though which is a shame. Sadly the last ten years have not been kind. At least you can finally get Nocturne on DVD...for years you had to be really lucky to get it...Siouxsie & the Banshees at their best.

She is much, much prettier with minimal makeup, the problem is that she rarely goes for that look. But it favors her face so much more than the dramatic goth makeup she usually wears.
