It's not Swine flu it's H1N1 Swine flu, as opposed to other swine flus and other H1N1s.

I remember my microbiology class. Virus is really deadly and can stay dormant and they mutate very fast and become deadlier. Everyone will catch this virus and its just the matter when.  You will get it and I will get it. The powerful and weak will catch this virus soon. Its like in the movies Resident evil and I am Legend. Business, schools, goverment building will close down and military will be reduced. We are doomed!

I agree with iamdmc on this one. It has been said sooo many times that more people will die from the "common flu" then from this swine flu "epidemic" This is just another thing that the news and the general public blow WAAAAYYYY out of proportion. well so far since its spred in american its only been a really, really small hand full of people who have died from its, but hell people die from other viruses that are small and weak everyday, but only cuz they dont treat it or their immune system sucks, like infants or old people.

i no right... but funny thing is that it just isn't anything at all.... let's see 36000 people die of the regular flu ever year. There's 20 confirmed deaths in Mexico. the numbers don't match in comparison at all.

Incorrect. Swine Flu already is at a human - human transmition stage, which means it is almost impossible to contain. It is a completely new virus, which we have no immunization for. Influenza is know to "attack" in waves. The Spanish flu, which killed approx 50 - 100 million people in 2 years, appeared at first, to be harmless. Only time will tell if this flu turns out to be as deadly, but we should always be wary of the potential.
