K, the short kid that looks like a guyish girl (but is actually a girl) is named Rui Xi, and the taller one is named Quan (pronounced Chuan) and they are roommates at an all guy's school. In real life, Rui Xi is Ella from the band S.H.E, and Quan is Wu Zun from the band Fahrenheit (Fei Lun Hai). And yes, they are madly in love, they just don't want to admit it, because then Rui Xi's identity as a girl would be revealed. Watch the drama if you want to know more, it's called Hana kimi (duh)

I wasn't able to watch the taiwanese version yet, but i'm actually puchasing my own copy this week and i've already read the manga. The jap adaptation focuses more on friendship between the dorms, while in the taiwanese version focuses more on the relationship between ashiya and sano. All in all i just love the series and the manga, sooooo much.
