Im already planning on running my own guitar business, of course its all just plans right now but im definetly doing it! Anyway my point being is that videos like this inspire me to go on! Thanks a lot man!
You did a very nice job on this guitar. It has a pretty little tone. I like the fact that you made the neck wider to allow for easier fingerpicking. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Coming from you that's a great compliment. Ps Love your stuff, might even persuade me to spend more time practicing (i need it) and less time building the damn things.
Thanks! Yes it's a through neck design, but I cut out a section for about 3/4 the distance between front and back of tin to allow the fretboard to vibrate better. You can see this more easily on one of my cbg demos. I just used standard narrow-medium fretwire - it's pretty cheap. Once you've decided your scale length, use a fret position calculator- there are lots on the 'net. Join the mimf (musical instrument makers forum), its a great source of useful info.

How did you fix the saddle?
Terrorvogel666 3 years ago
There are 2 screws under the saddle through the bridge slot into the through-neck.

Wow, that sounds very nice. I would like to make one but I have a few questions.
Does the neck go all the way through the body? What do you use for the fret wires and where exactly do I place them?
