  • worst season ever nicaragua and redemption island

  • Very good season! worth to watch

  • Nicaragua is beautiful when it isn't extremely hot and humid, and when you visit the tourist part of it.

Go to the parts where the people actually live (and not the capital) and you'll realize how run-down and horrible it is. It really went down-hill after the war.

  • @Gamerguy3379 Hater!!!

  • @julsnica I'm not hating, friend. I visited for a month about two months ago. It was supposed to be a vacation but it became a nightmare when my grandmother became sick. She had to stay in their FILTHY hospitals for several weeks.

  • @Gamerguy3379 Why you did not take it to a private hospital, Where they have good attention and services, or was because you did not want to pay!! now I Know!!

  • @julsnica It WAS a private hospital.

  • @Gamerguy3379 I DONT THINK SO! IF YOU TAKE IT TO THE METROPOLITAN HOSPITAL IN MASAYA HIGHWAY YOU DID NOT BEEN TALKIN LIKE THIS . THAS AS GOOD HOSPITAL AS ANY IN THE USA! SORRY FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FAMILY MEMBER!

  • @Gamerguy3379 STOP TALKIN BAD ABOUT NICARAGUA! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU TALKING! OUT SIDE OF MANAGUA IS WHERE EVRYTHING IS BEUTIFULL I KNOW SOME PARTS ARE POOR BUT EVERY WHERE IN THIS WORLD IS POVERTY SO DONT BE A HATER!

  • Viva Nicaragua

  • It's survivor in nicaragua if ur a fan, nicaraguan or both enjoy don't argue about politics. =)

"Orgullosamente Nicaraguense, por gracia de Dios"

  • Buen video, los felicito, visit nicaragua, the most beatiful land of the world

  • This starts THIS Wednesday. The tribes are split into younger contestants and older contestants again. The Hidden Immunity Idol will return, this time with only VISUAL clues. There is also a new tool, which gives some sort of advantage to one tribe during a challenge, but must then be transferred to the other tribe.

  • I heard Jimmy Johnson is going to be in this season. Hope he leaves the Extendz at home.

  • YEAY excited!!!

  • Nicaragua is amazing. I lived in San Juan Del Sur for 2yrs. They were starting to film there when I left. Hermosa and Yankee Beach.

  • when does it start

  • Nicaragua is the most beautiful country I've ever been to. I was just there this june/july(*apparently when they were shooting the series as well) and I had the single best experience of my life...

Every day was a new adventure and a new dish I got to try.

It rained about 95% of the time I was there, though, I loved it because I didn't want to get a tan.

I highly suggest everybody visit this marvellous country, because I can assure you, you will not regret it!

    GO!

  • When this starts? Can't wait :D

  • ?? humnn.. (can't wait to watch this!)

  • Comment removed

  • ive seen the picture of the cast already, just google it

  • Filming in San Juan del Sur... WEAK!!! Oh well, have to make it safe for the gringos, right?

  • S20 preview is so much better than this one. Sigh.

  • 95% of the shots are from past seasons :S

  • i mean 1:05..sorry i didnt know how to edit previous comment

  • @craigyl9ove I think that is from Samoa. :P

  • oh right, it's alexis jones i think from guatemala and micronesia

  • is this a former contestant at 1:07? i found something familiar with the eyes..im not sure about the name or season...or i may be just my imagination....

  • lol they see us 0:53

  • I can't wait to watch it! yay!!!

  • Jimmie Johnson will own this season

  • NEWS:

the season was speculated to have a old vs. young twist

    the tribes:

    La Flor (orange)

    Espada (blue)

Find other spoilers @ your own risk

  • premiere September 15

  • Do y'all know when in August will they reveal the contestants?

  • when does this season start?

  • When I was in Nicaragua we met some of the contestents and film crew. I was there on my way home from doing work in an orphanage for 3 weeks and we met them at the los mercedes in Managua. I'm so excited seeing as Nica is like a second home for me! I wonder if they're on the west or east coast though =S

  • @stjohnyouth most likely east coast

  • @edgarleyton

That's what I was thinking, after I saw the wildlife and such I was almost certain it was east coast/

  • @stjohnyouth I live in Nicaragua, San Juan del Sur is on the west coast, glad you like Nica =)

  • @vanessacm21

Oh wow! That's amazing! I was in Santo Tomas, near Chinandega and Petecaltepe! Sorry if my spelling is wrong =/ but it's my feelings towards Nicaragua which counts =]

  • Because Survivor 22 is supposed to be in Nicaragua as well do u think that it might be another All Stars season or Fans vs Favourites. Winners vs Runner ups would be good.

  • And something to surprise them all<3OMG,I so love the new things that comes in play

  • gotta say,the preview was kinda weak lol,im not really convinced to watch this season, doesnt sound that exciting

i hope the new twist is that richard hatch(i think his house arrest is over by now?) and rudy gets to return like bobby jon and stephaine did lol, return of rudy at age 82!!!

  • Super cool - can't wait!

  • I'm going to intern on this season!

I'm so excited. I'm going to meet the cast and crew tomorrow. I can't wait.

  • @zacefronlovee OMG sooooo damn lucky! Enjoy your time!

  • @zacefronlovee whatever you do dont read the comments ever unless you finish the series because people will spoil it like thy did with heroes vs villains

  • i think it has another military theme to it. or a new era theme. just a guess since the preview has lots of techie effects on it..the skull in exile island???

  • @YvesGerald nah. depending from what probst says then I think its gonna be more of a spanish/conquistador theme. thats just me though

  • @spikedsoldier Yea, I agree with you. Maybe the theme would start with some Spanish chant or something.

  • That girl near the end of the preview resembles Alexis incredibly.

  • @toonytown2 ...that was alexis...

  • Was I the only one to see Yau Man on there?

  • Comment removed

  • @The67Something maybe 1 surprise would be nice. It should actually be challenging to survive there.

  • @FadiFlashi My favorite seasons are Borneo and Australia because they weren't all about strategy which has almost ruined the show.

  • @Andrew19ao I disagree. I love strategic play. I actually disliked Borneo and Afrifca was OMG so awful and super boring. My top 5 seasons would have to be: 1) Heroes vs. Villains. 2)Samoa. 3)season 8 All-Stars. 4)Austrailian Outback. 5)Fans vs. favourites. ;D

  • @5416316 Yea, same for me here, although Heroes vs. Villains was so full of surprises that I started to think it was written or something. And I hated that after Samoa they didn't change the idol system, like duh, it was such a boost for Russell.

  • Can you try to remove any spoilers if they're posted on here because when Heroes vs Villains preview was posted there were so many spoilers and the worst is when they said who was gonna win it really fucked up the whole season because I knew who would already win.

  • @Dop122 Heroes vs Villains was an unusually spoiled season. For HvsV, any comment on this channel which contained spoilers was removed shortly after it was posted. Nicaragua should not see the same level of spoilers.

  • @SPsurvivorvideos It was so annoying because after the second week I knew who would win Survivor Heroes Vs. Villains I still watch it to see if it was true and I was kinda pissed to find out it was.

  • @Dop122 OMG you're sooo right. I got so pissed off when they ruined it for us ! :@

  • Comment removed

  • @Dop122 yah HvV has a strangely huge amount of spoilers possibly due to the big gap of time between filming and airing. I doubt this will happen again this time but probably we'll have to deal with this in season 22 again when they film back-to-back.

  • @JeremyT19 I wonder where do people even find these things at I'm thinking it already aired somewhere else like a different country or something and the you get alot of spoilers and I also thing survivor heroes vs Villians aired directly after the Samoa reunion either that or it was pre recorded but they said it was live because remeber Russell definently on both of them.

  • Really nice to see this happen! Nicaragua's a beautiful place that's totally worth a visit. I mean really, where else can you do volcano surfing? This is awesome for the Nicaraguan people! Hope this season is the best one yet!

Servil!!!

  • @feydivan98 Manito, be real, el pais esta pobre. Necesita inversion!

  • @feydivan98 Nonsense. Mentalidad vieja. Lo que paso, paso. You have to think progressively. You cannot revert the past. It's unfortunate, but it's time to move on. No hay guerra en America Latina contra los Estados Unidos. Via rhetorica, si. Pero con fusil? Nunca! Porque? Because they know damn well it goes against the country's economic interests. Estamos en la era de globalizacion, no de la guerra fria.

  • @jmartinez318 Hermano, I really wish it were so. But it's not. I don't have to get into details but " globalization " is not the start of a good, benevolent One World Society where everybody is going to be happy. I don't want to and I can't change your mind, but things are bad right now. They'll get better for a short while, A VERY SHORT WHILE, then " globalization " and those who believe in it will find themselves on the edge of a cliff there is no turning back from.

  • @feydivan98 No one mentioned anything about "happy." Frankly, you're describing the "race to the bottom," not globalization. I'll leave you to decide what's more important:

Anti-imperialist rhetoric (which does nothing for the poor except give them this fake illusion of progress while they still live in meager living conditions.)

    Or:

Using the country's advantages to generate wealth so that people can lift themselves up from poverty through tourism.

  • @jmartinez318 Remember hermano, you're talking about NICARAGUA here. WHEN IN NICARAGUA'S HISTORY HAVE THE POOR EVER HAD THE CHANCE TO " lift themselves up " in any way, towards a Neo-Utopian place on Earth like you envision for the denizens of " el pueblo "? It doesn't matter to me either way who's in power. The face is the poor will always be poor IN NICARAGUA, and los ricachones will always be bathing in greenbacks. Red/Black/Fuschia or Blue/White, it's all the same: GRINGOCONTROL!

  • @feydivan98 Actually, pretty recently. Have you been there recently? The country's doing better economically and less people are in extreme poverty. And it isn't a vision of "neo-Utopianism," it's actually an idea from Muhammad Yunus of the Grameen Bank, whom by the way is not a "gringo." Youtube him if you'd like.

Gringo is an outdated term that really has no place in today's globalized world.

  • @jmartinez318 Well, I was there in late 2008. I was planning to go back this year but since my Dad is going that negated my foray into the abyss. So the people were able to benefit from Daniel's generous gift of $35? Less people are in extreme poverty? Are you a census taker to determine that? I honestly don't know any poor Nicaraguans because I don't travel in those circles, all my info is rumours and hearsay, and trading an Arab for a gringo smacks of NWO to me.

  • @feydivan98 Apparently, yes. A recent report from the Miami Herald seems to answer that finding:

Use Google and search for: "Nicaragua finds huge patron in Venezuela's Chavez."

If you don't know the poor, I guess you are not in the position to judge. Although I am no fan of Ortega and would love to see him elected out, the candidate choices for 2011 are not promising.

  • @jmartinez318 I'm not too impressed with Mr Yanus. I honestly never heard of him before you mentioned him but he looks, walks and talks like a NEO-SOCIALIST SO I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HIM. He's just looking to feed others with the largesse reaped for decades by the people who could. Everybody is marching to the " social equality " and " New Utopia " plan but it's going to make it better for some, worse for others, AND SLAVES OF US ALL.

  • @feydivan98 *Mr. Yunus. He is a respected figure in the academic international sphere. He was recently at Syracuse University giving a lecture on investments to end poverty based on microeconomic stability. Perhaps you should take a college level course in International Relations and see how different his ideas are from a "New Utopia." Fostering a middle class, as Yunis' program intends, is best for Nicaragua.

  • @jmartinez318 So you believe that globalization will foster economic prosperity for the world, including Nicaragua, and not a general level Socialist Earth where everybody will be forced to be equal and not achieve what they can achieve based on merit, let alone estate, inheritance and the right of the elite class to hold on to what they own? Sorry, I'm not buying it. DANIEL ERA ENVIDIOSO DE LOS RICACHONES, MI AMIGO, AHORA QUE ES UNO NO LE LUCE MAS GENTE FUERTE ECONOMICAMENTE.

  • @feydivan98 Globalization works. Look at China, the second largest economy in the world. Globalization with capitalism is not flawless, but it's the best there is. Socialist programs never really work. Daniel really combines the two, minus his anti-imperialist rhetoric. But of course, having a class that's ridiculously poor isn't good. It affects the nation's productivity. A country can't be competitive or economically strong if it's people lack basic necessities.

  • @jmartinez318 NOW I understand what you mean. In the sense of traditional globalization, the Chinese model is the best and I concede that point to you. However, you didn't factor in the HUMAN element. The Chinese have a vastly different mentality than we do and don't forget that the Chinese went through Mao's revolution where he slaughtered millions of people who didn't fit the new plan. Daniel wouldn't do that, he doesn't have the will or the stomach.

  • @feydivan98 "Human element?" I'm not sure that has any relevance here. Nicaraguans are hardworking people just like their Chinese counterparts. Which is why many Zona Francas have opened up in recent years. Although I do believe the political system mentality has something to do with it. The government focuses too much on the old Sandinista and Somozista debates. Once that's taken care of, I think things will fall into place, don't you?

  • @jmartinez318 So that's begs the question again: Just who is going to take care of it, your Mr. Yanus and his Rainbow Coalition of Globalists? Are you willing to see your country turn into another multicultural, multiracial mess just so everybody can benefit from some economic prosperity? Do you believe in racial or ethnic pride or are do you want your grandchildren to be interracial mongrels, mixed with all the dregs of humanity?

  • @feydivan98 Didn't you just support the globalists? You just contradicted your position. I'm not sure what you refer to as "my country." I live in the United States, just as you do. Again, none of the nonsense written in your questions is relevant to the subject. Unless of course, you'd like to join the White Supremacist cause, feel free. But none of your "racial" or "ethnic" statements refer to the subject of economy.

Again, his name is Yunis, not Yanus.

  • @jmartinez318 When you have Presidente Chinchilla allow President Obama to send 7,000 marines, battleships and other military equipment to Costa Rica for a possible invasion of Nicaragua if Daniel Ortega gets re-elected, then my " racial " and " ethnic " statements trump anything to do with economy. .I don't give a shit what his name is, he's just a towelhead to me and YES, I AM A RACIST AND HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH WHITE SUPREMACY, I PREFER A WHITE PRESIDENT TO A BLACK ONE ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!!!

  • @feydivan98 Your just invalidated your entire argument -.-

  • @jmartinez318 Uh... how? I told you I HATE POOR PEOPLE. I told you I DON'T LIKE THE GRINOGS INVADING NICARAGUA, BUT I DIDN'T SPECIFY WHICH ONES. THERE ARE " Americans " ( gringos ) and there are GERMANS ( Aryans ), LIKE MY WHITE NICARAGUAN GODFATHER. And then there are " untermensch " like Barack " Nicolae Carpathia " Obama. Need I elaborate further?

  • @feydivan98 Your topics have nothing to do with each other. Race with poverty...unless you are suggesting that people who are darker do not deserve equal opportunity, then you make no sense.

Nicaraguans are multiethnic really, so it makes no sense to integrate race into this conversation.

  • @jmartinez318 My point is that people WHO ARE POOR WHO HAVE NOT WORKED FOR THEIR WEALTH DO NOT DESERVE EQUAL OPPURTUNITY. What makes you an expert on the poor? My arguments may be pointless but you just sound like a dogmatic Socialist to me who just repeats the " EQUALITY FOR THE POOR! ' rhetoric and mantra. Honestly, what do you care? YOU'RE IN AMERICA, ENJOY IT BEFORE IT TURNS INTO NICARAGUA TOO!!!

  • @feydivan98 Of course they do, if they work just as hard for their earnings, they deserve a chance. It's like education in the US, the government is obligated to level out the playing field, otherwise, the economy wouldn't function. I disagree with socialism, and if you read carefully, you would have noticed it a long time ago. I support investment, not redistrubution of wealth. READ. I care because I'm Nicaraguan American, what's it to you? You need college dude. LOL like FAST.

  • @jmartinez318 So because everything I have said to you is racist, classist, non-Liberal, non-egalitarian, cold-hearted and mean spirited then you automatically assume I'm a goose-stepping Brown Nazi who can't spell, read or think? Hmm, then I guess you've never heard of David Duke, Patrick J. Buchanan or Dr. William Pierce, all noted American RACIALISTS with ( aghast ), COLLEGE DEGREES. Just more LIberal Commie bullshit assumptions on your part.

  • @feydivan98 You say you support investment in Nicaragua but you defend the poor people. How are a bunch of ill-educated campesinos ever going to get off their collective butts and " work hard for their earnings ", like you say. DO YOU KNOW ANY NICARAGUANS IN NICARAGUA WHO WORK HARD FOR THEIR EARNINGS? If you call stealing or servicing 20 gringos a day working hard, then the girls down there can invest in some birth control pills so Social Darwinism can take it's course.

  • @feydivan98 Simple, campesinos can have their private small enterprises and sell to multi-nationals for a profit. They can sell their goods to the general population and also make an earning. And yes, I have met many Nicaraguans who have done so. Haven't met a Nicaraguan who's cheated a 'gringo' ever. Again, your lack of facts cultivate utter nonsense. Birth control pills are not an investment. Stop trying to sound educated, you sound more like a wikipedia article.

  • @feydivan98 Absolutely. You bring grave shame to us conservatives ^___^

  • @feydivan98 I'm a conservative, not a liberal. I have absolutely no idea where you get these ideas that I support a liberal agenda. You seem like Nancy Pelosi, who acts before thinking. Duke, Buchanan and Pierce are white supremacists, not real think-tanks. They focus on WASPs really, and have no correlation with this topic. Race is nothing more than the power of an illusion and has absolutely nothing to do with this conversation. Stop trying to integrate it, it isn't working manito.

  • @jmartinez318 Sp what do you care about the poor then? And you say I invalidated my argument? If you're a CONSERVATIVE NICARAGUAN AMERICAN then you know that the gringos don't want to really help Nicaragua, they'll just exploit it and if you have an economic stake in the country, LIKE I DO, then you'll get your piece of the pie. SO WHY THE HELL DO YOU CARE ABOUT THE TEEMING, POOR UNWASHED MASSES, PLN/PLC HERMANO??? Somoza would have you hanged!!!

  • @feydivan98 Throughout this debate we've been having I've stood by my guns and I've told you that I only care about my side, the RIGHT side, as in RIGHT-WING. You say you want to help the poor but claim to be a Conservative. That's complete bullshit. What are you gonna say next, you're a LIBERAL REPUBLICAN? Or are you a RINO like Arlen Specter?

  • @feydivan98 have you guys been drinking?

  • @thelala22222 I don't imbibe but drinking is a national pastime in Nicaragua so there are a lot of borrachos, along with every Nico who argues about politics :)

  • @feydivan98 Look, all kidding aside, I don't really know if I have implied that you support a Liberal agenda but if we speak frankly then being Conservative and supporting the poor just doesn't add up now, does it? Don't tell me you're sitting in your mansion in Miami just thinking about how to help the barrio boys at the soup kitchen cos you feel Ricachon guilt about having more then they do. Richachones have to be heartless whores, it's the only way to survive in Nicaragua. Screw poverty!

  • @jmartinez318 chill the fuck up!

  • @elmo1057 Lol nothing constructive in your comment.

  • @jmartinez318 ya wutever!!! DUDE>.....Ive been to NICARAGUA 500 times its AWESOME

  • @elmo1057 I know it is. I've been there, too and I love it! No idea where you're coming from. -_-

  • @jmartinez318 ya iam just playing.....Nicaragua is cool..my moms from there

  • i only watched season 20 and now i find it lame to watch older seasons but im also very sad that the season is over i wana see more this show is soo good

  • @XxSafadixX It's not lame... it's the best thing ever! Would you really ignore 19 other seasons...?

  • If season 22 is over, who will be the new host for this show onwards?? And probably there will be a final reunion that emphasizes on Jeff's retirement from this show.

  • @FadiFlashi havent watched heroes vs villains , but to me survivor micronesia was the best , so unpredictable and lots of blindsides !!! :)

  • Hm, the picture clips that are shown when Jeff talks about the surprise is what's her name from Micronesia, and it shows it twice, maybe they will bring back two people like they did in Guatemala and one of them will be her. What is her name?

  • @FunLoadsOfHoney89

    oh it is Alexis!

  • I really, really hope that they bring back the old format of 10-person merge, 7-person jury, and FINAL TWO...Thats the way the game was meant to be!

  • @MRredhotlava

I totally agree, a final two is the best!

  • @FunLoadsOfHoney89, yeah i miss it, and i'm sooo tired of the final 3 thing

  • The Wednesday time slot will actually be good for the show and everyone involved. For one thing, it's no longer in the comfort zone. For another, long-time viewers will be forced to make some significant choices. Oh, and there's no guarantee Russell the hobbit is coming back.

  • if the surprise is russel coming back, i hope he leaves first cause weve seen enough of him!

  • The surprise is that the new Exile Island is a 5-star hotel...

Never mind, I have no idea.

  • @XTreecko13 that sounds nice

  • The surprise is there is no surprise :)

  • I'm looking forward to seeing this season and what the theme will be...I think it would be a good back-to-back place...unlike Samoa, which got old day 2.

  • Here's to another decade of Survivor! (Hopefully.) Can't wait to see NEW faces.

  • The surprise is that you dont get sent home...you die. :9

  • @KerraSeayWhat LOL that would be a big surpise

  • I wonder what the surprise will be for the survivors

  • LOOKS AWESOME!!!!

  • -.- bullshit... i live in nicaragua, its nothing like that

  • @OSKRRRIN true dat lol

  • Then you are wrong because all this and more in Nicaragua is no longer stuck in the computer and take a look at Nicaragua and see this and more is what the country

  • Hey OSKRRIN BULLSHIT, perhaps you are living in Nicaragua but it doesn't mean that you've visited all that places, you have no idea, if you do not have anything good to say, BE QUIET. Nicaragua is a beautiful country to visit that images are not enough to talk about it. And for your information I am not from Nicaragua. You do not know what you have, what a pitty.

  • @Liskamaliano thanks

  • @OSKRRRIN Then you havent been out XD

  • @bedazzled31 It was a joke lol

  • Maravillosoooooo

  • @adsjfowe

the survivors can be given winter clothes and extra fire-making materials!! it's still feasible!

  • can't wait to see the cast of season 21.

  • @lorenzosan18 where did you get the info about the location for Survivors 23 & 24 ?

  • Survivor 22 will also be filmed on Nicaragua and 23 and 24 will be filmed on Caramoan, Philippines

  • Did you guys know that the super twist for this season is when Russell and Rupert come back to this season like they did with Steph on BJ at Guatemala? :-O

  • @spikedsoldier Really? I reckon that Russell won't come back this season. By right, Alexis really looked like she was going to be on the season. Her face appeared twice in this preview. But I know the preview is always wrong... but Russell? Low chance, but maybe. Even if he comes onto this season, Jeff Probst earlier mentioned about adjusting according to the Russell factor, which is making hidden immunity idol less easy to find and less frequent.

  • @minghaoxD lol you do know I was only kidding :P I mean watching Russell back to back seasons will be annoying and it might be bad for his health. So yeah, it was just a prank XD.

  • i was hoping one day they will do a survivor siberia or survivor in the canadian north! it's one of those usual locations again! i reckon viewership will drop!

  • @breakdownify won't it be too cold to make any social communication?

  • VIVA NICARAGUA JUEPUTA!!!!! look at this comercial... they've never done it before (tourism institute) you see what a great budget and a wonderful land can do??? VAMOS NICARAGUA... vamos adelante.... Nicaragua it's beautifulllll you'll see how great it is..... it's unique!

  • i'm so excited they are doing to Nicaragua!! I love that country and am glad people will know more about it!

  • Q'Orgullo tan Grande!!!!

  • they should do a Suvivor: Cuba :D

  • NICARAGUA. I used to live there. I just came back a couple of months ago. Finally, Nicaragua is getting some recognition.

  • @95RB LMFAO Sandino vs Somoza XD

  • @majesticisaunicorn FSLN contra la Guardia. NO HAY POR QUE REIRSE, PAISANO.

  • I love that Survivor is going to Nicaragua!!! They should do the season on Lake Nicaragua or on the Mosquito Coast. I've heard that they'll do it in San Juan Del Sur... that's where all the tourists go...so, I hope that rumours are wrong!!

Maybe the tribes will be Sandino and Somoza. (My fellow Nicas get the joke) =)

  • @JoshinSGV aha I get it. hehe

  • @JoshinSGV Yeah, had to make it safe for the White folks.
