From my point of view as the promoter/booker of the show & as a band member. I've driven 3 hours for shows & played for 5 people but made the best of it. It is not my fault you drove that far, you could have told them to bail on the show. But when your drummer walks into the venue and walks right past the girl working the door and when she says are you in a band? and he turns to his friend and says "Tell her who the fuck i am"
first off... aren't you all supposed to be rock bands? drinking onstage at a church is what you're supposed to do. are you some fundamentalist christian rock bands who're afraid of sounding different, playing the same old pre-fab, formulated, mall-punk bullshit i hear coming from my little cousin's iPod? Man Like Machine have killed it every time i've seen them play. everyone is yelling, every pussy is soaking wet. they rock hard and live it. you guys are fags in bands i'll never listen to.

So you can go off into your little fantasy land where Man Like Machine are big, badass rockstars and fucking enjoy yourself. what is need is the begining of this like when man like machine realized the show was running late and said they would play 5 songs if robots got there local people in the building. it would also be cool if the video had the guy from robots yelling shit at man like machine while they played. this would all help out with having people know what really happened and not 10 minutes of frustration after driving an hour with 2 vans from philadelphia.

Well considering Robots and Racecars is such a professional act, with many tours of lower bucks county, it is no surprise that they talked shit when another band's set up time was not up to par with their high standards. Robots and Racecars are so cool that they hang "All Access Passes" from their key chains clipped to their jeans. Fran is too good for RandR. This is proven by the number of autographs he signs for fans at diners. You can see pictures at his myspace page. Matt likes young girls.

I have no clue who Man Like Machine is and I guess I do not know the whole situation because i wasnt there, but from what I understand your band was hassling them to hurry up and they got mad. Seriously why not help them get moving? Support the local scene and don't be arrogant. By the way I have a pair and they would be happy to talk with you face to face the next time I see you at a show.
You weren't there & do not understand the situation. There was no "hassling", and certainly nothing done to warrant the reaction shown. The problem was their attitude, in addition to the fact that they were blatantly drinking at an all ages show in a CHURCH. The "local scene" wasn't anything they wished to be a part of, & they made that known during the 10 minute rant they went off on, this being 10% of it. I'm sorry if I was snarky earlier, as I'm a bit on guard after all that mess. <3s & *s
