  • lynda's wonder woman can keep her "class" because xena is a lot more interesting.

  • I do not think Lynda Carter intended to be condescending in any way. If anything, in every interview of her that I have watched, she goes out of her way to give credit where credit is due. I like both Wonder Woman (both as she is written in the comic and as she was portrayed by Lynda Carter) and Xena. Both Lynda and Lucy portrayed characters who were great role models and, while I think Lucy would agree that Lynda was a forerunner in that regard, Lynda would agree that Lucy is a great successor.

  • i like them both she is right but both fought for the same reason to right the wrongs and bring back balance and to help those who needed it

  • she was on law & order svu :O i had no idea she was lynda carter when i saw the episode :O

  • Wonder Woman at least in modern day comics, when she gets into a fight she can get down and dirty like Xena. The difference is that Diana is more diplomatic and forgiving, and not as eager for combat like Xena is. Of course if the bad guy is a ruthless murderer, Wondy will kill him because unlike Supes and Bats she doesn't have a no killing rule.

  • How she means classy????When comes to fight if the warrior woman give attention to not break one of her nail that's not classy..that's ridiculous..Xena was a wild like a barbarian warrior...How many like Xena character have we seen on tv or in movies? NONE!How many "classy" characters like Wonder Woman" have we seen? A lot..

  • @Kongkos You have a point, Xena was really a warrior. She was violent and sometimes cruel. Also we hace to consider that WW has super powers and Xena does not. Only if we belive that her lesbianism is a super power jajajajaja

  • lynda is right.

  • I've seen both. Lucy Lawless and I are the same age. Nothing against Xena or Lucy but I think Linda's comments are RIGHT ON! Linda's Wonder woman was and is more feminine and classy. Xena is more like a "biker chick" in attitudes and mannerisms. Watch what you like I say but my favorite IS WonderWoman!!

  • @ErichH68 Don't forget, Wonder Woman and the idea of it came first in DC Comics history.

  • I think Lynda was on Percoset when she interviwed.

  • i think Xena is classy. "proud warrioress"^^

  • why is there an air of condescending in her tone... Lucy lawless I think is more realistic realistic for most humans in day to life. Wonder woman is obviously a made up character! Xena is relate able, thats why she is popular!

  • @operaman20 Couldn't agree more! :-)

  • Xena is gritty tough, boyish, and down to earth thats why i love her!!!

  • Xena came up sort of Ghetto while Wonder Woman was brought up as a member of Royalty and had certain obligations. However both women understood and respected traditions so to say Xena was classless wouldn't be fair. However she isn't classy in the same way Wonder Woman is.

  • wow she looks like an old meskin woman making tortillas!

  • Xena wasn't butch, she didn't try to be a man, she just kick butt like one. If you notice, she used her sexuality and power over man a lot in the series. Lucy would definitely agree that Wonder Woman was classy and that Xena wasn't. It's not a bad thing, it's just 2 different women playing 2 different parts in 2 different era's. And I loved both of them.

  • Hmmm have to say I prefer Xena over Wonderwoman anyday. Xena says it like it is - Wonderwoman well....

  • Man, Lynda still looks good today. She's got a point, Xena really isn't classy, she's all warrior, all brawn, fighting, and what not. Wonder Woman fought, but was always very ladylike about it.

  • You say that like its a bad thing...

Why should Xena be 'ladylike'? What does that even mean?

  • I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it at all. I'm just saying that in comparison, Xena was Butch, and Wonder Woman was Feminine, and there's nothing wrong with either one. I used to love watching Double W and I still watch it a bit on here now and then.

  • i know that if i was in a life or death situation between xena and wonder woman, xena is the only woman who would get the job done, while wonder womans putting her costume on, xena already saved ya

  • @syfygirl82 lol. Wonder Woman always has her costume on. it takes her only a couple seconds to get the outer layers off.

  • @danalia Wonder Woman is ladylike and she fought because she's a warrior, but a warrior of peace and reason.

    -R78

  • @danalia do you think wonder Woman could actually be lady like in a midevil environment? Joan of Arc couldn't....

  • I have always loved The Bionic Woman (Sleep Number Beds' Lindsay Wagner), Isis (Joanna Cameron), Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter), and Xena: Warrior Princess (Lucy Lawless), and in 1977, my French teacher looked just like Lynda Carter!!! I was so excited of course to learn French from her.

  • Oui, I would have been quite a good student if a teacher had looked like Lynda Carter. She is still incredibly beautiful to this day.

  • What happened to Joanna Cameron? I used to watch "My Isis" !

  • I like them both... Wonder Woman will always have a special place in my heart.

  • I think her feelings are bittersweet because i think she'd love to have been taken more seriously like xena was. They are very different shows and i thnk that without the sucess of wonderwoman and the like xena would not have had the chance in the first place. i love them both

  • Lucy Lawless was Xena Warrior Princess back in 1995. I think Xena was action hero. Just Like Wonder Woman back in 1975. If the Wonder Woman was in the future somewheres, Lucy Lawless will do it.

  • Yeeaah Xena is Xena! lol
