  • Thanks.

  • I wish I could jam with you someday my friend, especially with this song.

  • i had forgotten about this version, Dylan. I much prefer it to the one I recorded recently. Thanks for reminding me.

  • @KenMiddletonUkulele You're most welcome mate! I tend not to forget the videos I've enjoyed watching. And this one is certainly unforgettable.

    Tom

  • Thank you, Tom.

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • Thanks again.

  • Beautiful Ken. Brings back the old days rising early for sunrise service on Easter day. More familiar with this Isaac Watts hymn in the old Hamburg tune, but love this version. The old church hymns are wonderful.

    RonVa

  • They certainly are, Ron. I have plans to do quite a few more this year.

  • I really enjoy your gospel music.

  • Thanks very much. I name to do more in 2009.

  • Great playing and a touching voice.

  • Thanks Peter.

  • Nicely done Ken.

I noticed that you have a wire connected to your H2. Is it for power or is the H2 connected to a computer? Are you syncing the audio recording to the video before broadcast?

So many questions, so little time. :)

  • It powers the mic via USB. I sync the audio using Windows Movie Maker.

  • Yes, the ending is really nice - and your singing is extra sweet through the whole song. 5* of course.

  • Thanks R. One of my favourite tunes.

  • So lovely Ken. You have a wonderful sense of timing.

  • This is one of my favorite hymns. It works so well with that melody. Thanks Ken!

  • I agree. We chose this hymn and tune for my daughter's wedding.

  • thanks.

  • Another beautiful performance Ken. What a great way to ease into my day.

  • Thank you, Deach.

  • what a moving start to my day!! I really love this tune, I found myself looking up the words to join in. BTW The key you have sung and played it in is the same pitch its played on the highland bagpipes.....not sure ukes and pipes go together but It was just something I realised when I got out my practice chanter to play!!

  • Thanks Michael. I was actually playing in the key of Eb. It looks like F on the video but I usually have my Kanile'a tenor tuned one tone lower.

  • most enjoyable

  • Thank you.

  • you still keep me inspired everytime i hear you play ken, keep it up.

  • Thanks, I'll try to.

  • gorgeous as per usual...very great work...who says songs ever had to be repetitious...your chords changes keep the listener on edge and waiting for everychange... amazing work...if you'd been around when Wesley was putting together the Methodist hymnal...you'd have one in there

  • I was around then, Alex. I'm even older than I look.

    Thanks for the positive comment.
