Kick Brian johnsson and hire joe lynn turner instead, atleast he sounds more like Bon and the old Pre 1980 AC/DC then Brian johnsson have and will ever do!
Jeg hater deg Joe Lynn Turner denne sangen er av Bon Scott sitt på et album som heter AC / DC sjokkerende sjeldne, og likevel alt du dum dickheads unntak for folk som tror det er Bon kan suge pikk.
stealer, this is on an AC/DC album called Shockingly Rare, it even feature AC/DC's Angus Young live with Guns N roses, and Johnnie Bee Good (Bon Scott live).
@andrewcairns11 SInce you're allready in such a rage I'm afraid of starting something that won't end here, but if it's as u say, and that this is actually BOn(wich I at least think you're saying, you're not litterally stating it), why on earth hasn't either ANgus or Malcolm said anything about it? Or Brian? I mean, come on, it would be world music news if Bon was laying down this track. And even if it is on a AC/DC rares cd, and it's this one song on there, it's just a rare and good cover
@NowUrJustIncoherent na man I know this isn't Bon Scott, it's Joe Lynn Turner, Bon Scott died before this was brought out, Bon did record a song for their new album before he died he managed to record it, but to this day its unnamed unreleased and extremely rare.
Yeah, this is DEFINITELY Joe Lynn Turner. Seems he uses the same (and very tough btw, if you want to destroy all your vocal chords, then try it at home :D) technique as Brian Johnson does to sing this song. That's why his voice has this "zzz" sound. If you listen to Brian Johnson's cleans vocals (in the band Geordie before he joined AC/DC for example), they sound quite different as well. :)
You fools-pleasse make note..this is from the World's Greatest AC/DC Tribute CD and it is Joe lynn Turner on vocals and Phil Collen (Def Leppard) on guitar. You can Goggle it...please no more nonsense about it being Stephen Pearcy (who does NOT have the chops to sing like JLT).
What the hell are you telling. Back in Black with Bon Scott??? Bon died before Back in Black was even composed. And you have also written that this Joe Lynn Turner version (as it is). Why you tell this is Back in Black with Bon Scott. It seems you know fuck about AC/DC. Go find out what's true and what's false before you write bullshit like that.
you guys are nuts,, this is steve pearcy from rat on his solo career,, he did a bunch of covers,,,, this song was being worked on when bon died,,,,,,they were sposed to start in the studio in 5 months,, but (rip) bon passed on
@bills300z No no no... This is Joe Lynn turner singing, not Stephen Pearcy. Stephen has actually he's own version of Whole Lotta Rosie, but I don't like that cause he don't sing the "Ain't no fairy story, Ain't no skin and bone" part of lyrics in he's version.
Is this really Joe Lynn Turner? This doesn't really sound like him, or it's just that I'm not used to hearing him sing like this! Didn't know he could sound THIS raw! Amazing!
me too dude... :)) amazing.. but if u listen hard u can still catch his gay singing... i am a hudge Purple and Rainbow fan, but this guy realy acts and sings like a fag...
haha, "gay" singing...Interesting term choice, not completely sure if I can agree with you....But I agree that he has a bit AOR/poppy sound to his voice, which may not please everyone when it comes to singing metal/hard rock...But I like him :)
@djeikop It is Joe. Joe was doing his screamer voice, which he occasionally breaks out on solo efforts. His usual style is more bluesy driven, but this is him belt5ing it out like good ol' Brian.
It's Joe Lynn Turner! One of the greatest singers from the 80's hard rock metal bands... I prefer this version... I didn't there was so much melody in the song... Joe rocks!
I read the ac dc history, In the history, in the bon scott songs back in black appeared, a secret version? when you look at the brian johnsohn songs back in black no appeared, error o secret?
the guitar work in this version at the start is alot different to angus's usual playing. but good to hear bon scott singing. i didnt even know this verion was around. lol
