  • This stuff's been around for years, used for keeping crickets (they're prone to drowning themselves if given a water dish) and as a slow-release water supply for houseplants. Most pet stores sell huge bags of it.

  • I have a bottle of something similar to these, they're gel marbles as well that I bought when they were marketed as soil. I've had it sit on my dresser for a few months, none of them have lost their size due to the cycle of the water.

  • @PunaniJohnny most likely they are a knock off brand. So many different companies out there are starting to sell their variation of Jelly marbles, and unfortunately, most of them don't work as advertised.
