I love my E36 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 9.4HP in the 328i. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

e36bmw325 - you should definitely get an engine chip for your M50. I have one on my e34, and it rocks. look up a TMS (jim conforti) or EAT chip. My 2.5L is up to 212hp/210tq. Though that isn't that much, 20 extra ft lbs were added into the curve @ 4000rpm, so it pulls a lot harder under acceleration now. definitely worth the money.
Nah this guy sucks. You have to continue the speed out of the "drift". You cant let it jerk back. And...he was doing it in dirt, which is gay. Ya, say he must have fun messing around and sure its "drifting" (with quotes), but dont say hes good. ;)
well...basically...u get spead...and then lift the break cluth or whatver u call it...that thing u pull up so the car dont move...and yeh...and u have to have full speed on...well thats what i was told :S
