I'm not sure who I am more offended by, her or you and the people in the crowd. I won't pretend that she is not somewhat lacking and ridiculous as a singer/performer, but she is a person nonetheless. She is trying to do something with her life, and, while it may be bad, you and the people in the crowd are nothing more than sarcastic, patronizing assholes. If you don't like her or her music that's one thing, but to go to her shows simply to mock and ridicule her is another. Give the girl a break.
Transvestite? I thought she looked beautiful, almost like an old hollywood kind of beauty. Gurl is hella sexy, a real traffic stopper!! I came with five of my buds to the show, and we all gave her a ten! Except me, I gave her a 10+.
Obviously this girl is totally clueless. Lea Marie is one to watch. She writes all of her own songs by herself, which she announced at the beginning of the show. Anyone who has read anything about her has seen that she had the number one pop demo of the year in music connection magazine. sorry you're so jealous of her talent. Who else can sell out the curb cafe twice? Belmont security doesn't just show up to any event…
@musiclovergirl36 They came to laugh. It's like Rebecca Black. No one likes it or considers it serious music. it's entertainment like the American Idol first auditions. People watch it because it's hilarious. This isn't even what current pop sounds like. It's so dated. Sounds like Britney Spears B-side rejects from the 90's.
@musiclovergirl36 pretty sure shows in the curb cafe are free... Belmont Security showed up because there were so many people, and as someone already stated, those people weren't necessarily there because they were fans. but you're right, a lot of people certainly know her name...
