recording from a 78rpm gramaphone. i used to listen in the 78 rpm. thanks vinatageaudio54. semmangudi excels as usual in his style of music. one small complaint is that the short time within which they have to pack all the punch of a thyagaraja kriti makes us want more. manytimes, the subtleties of the raag and kriti are not explored in full because of time constraint- if they were born in this age of mp3s and ipods etc what a difference it would have made to rasikas like us.
