First Karl Marx and Stephan Engels were germans - so the "founder of communism" was a german, but the socialism (and may later of the communism) was working in the UdSSR and the east-states of Europe (also China, Vietnam, North Korea, Afgahnistan (for a little time), Kuba,....) Ok, I do happen to live in Germany, a country which was divided in two parts. Both of which roughly equally wealthy and prosperous before. After a few years the "common worker" was so happy not having to pay healthcare and education in the socialist part that the government had to build a wall to keep them from running into the capitalist part.

First Karl Marx and Stephan Engels were germans - so the "founder of communism" was a german, but the socialism (and may later of the communism) was working in the UdSSR and the east-states of Europe (also China, Vietnam, North Korea, Afgahnistan (for a little time), Kuba,....) So: Founders from Germany but it was done in reality in russia/UdSSR.

The thing what I dont get about communism is why people think religion HAS to be disestablished. As long as said religious population doesnt make political assertions, everything could go fine. As long as religious services werent funded using the general public's effort, and just by those attending, things would work out.

The problem is that ever communist government has been set up but military dictators who do not want to relinquish their power, so they make it impossible for this to happen. It has always been set up after a revolution. Look at Sweden; they're a socialist country, and they're doing pretty damn fine, if you ask me.

@PaintballRush222 Swedes are genreally more culturally suited to socialist ideals such as income equality, free healthcare, Trade Unionism etc and even capitalist institutions there are better than those in other capitalist countries, having something within them that can be considered left-wing. However most Americans, Brits, Russians and most groups are not suited to such equality as they are unwilling to work towards it or have their mindset.

I'm athiest, but I'm fine with other people following their own religion as long as they are not disturbing the peace by protesting things, or blowing up abortion centers, ect. Hey, there is moral and real difference between "giving" and "stoling by governments (whatever on "liberal" states with Locke's doctrine or "communist" states with Marx or other socialist ideology - both of this kinds of states are using agression against person*). I find that both far left and far right sides of the political spectrum do not work. Communisim and fascism both have their flaws. America, from what I see, became more controlled by the rich corporations instead of the people of the country. It is no longer under Capitalism. I think the best form of government is a mix between socialism and capitalism. Thereby, allowing people to make money and allow everyone access to basic needs.

The whole point of Marxism and socialism is for the proletariat, ie the working class, to rise up to become the ruling class. That's what true Marxism is, where the exploited masses rise up and overthrow the incumbent bourgeoisie rulers.
As a worker, I spend my entire life being exploited by my boss; socialism is about getting rid of the boss, so that the workers can rule the world on their own.

@extremeeXrement1 A factory contains a hundred workers, and they all come together to form a democratically organised board for deciding how the business is going to be run. They are called soviets. Without a boss, then the assembly line workers will run the thing themselves.
Instead of producing things for profit, they are made for human need, feed the hungry, etc, and so a coordinated soviet governmental system will make sure that everyone gets fed and clothed, no hungry or homeless

@extremeeXrement1 Nobody works for profits. Workers, ie wage-slaves, have to work in order to get an income so that they don't die from poverty -- hence, workers work for their bosses for a salary.
Capitalists exploit workers by paying them less than they're worth, and keeping the surplus value for themselves -- hence, capitalists exploit for profits.
Socialism is about eliminating profits and exploitation and capitalists -- hence, human labour directed instead towards human needs.

Well, it is quite more complicated. Capitalism would be OK if it would be really like it says to be:
Full responsability for the people that are earning the highest wages, if you break it, you pay it.
Also full responsability for all stock holders. Why should a company stop its liability at some point? Normal persons have endless liability, Capitalism invented the limited liability and other laws to protect themselves, manipulating the market that they say it should be free.

Ok, I do happen to live in Germany, a country which was divided in two parts. Both of which roughly equally wealthy and prosperous before. After a few years the "common worker" was so happy not having to pay healthcare and education in the socialist part that the government had to build a wall to keep them from running into the capitalist part.
