It is Sam in the top hat. I am pretty sure he started out as either a back up dancer or Professor singalottasonga. He was also part of the pirate crew and in the Wiggly Orchestra wearing a yellow suit. He is a very multi talented guy and a great actor. Dapper Dave was my favorite role of his.

@tdarling81 Yes, Sam was a back up dancer(in fact the female dancer in the cowboy hat is his wife Lyn) originally as well as Prof Singalottasongsa, and Dapper Dave The Pirate.

Sam's performance as Dapper Dave is just adorable! He always played that role so well, and it fits his personality so good. Might I add he looks smashing in that top hat! Dapper Dave was the best of the pirate crew, and his performance was always amazing.
