The stuff fan fiction is made of.... There were really no clear pairings between the main characters in XII which I liked...despite my feelings of ick toward the couple, I can't deny that the video was actually quite good :) I really enjoyed it! :)

I have just began playing FFXII but from the first moments I saw Blathier and Fran, I have been convinced that they are much more than only friends. Um. Not every relationship has to be completely apparent. Throughout FFXII there are small signs that hint at their relationship. Why on earth would Fran leave the wood? Sure she wants her freedom, but would that really keep her from her sisters? Obviously she has left because she is in love with Balthier. Also, in the game there is a special side quest in which Vaan has to pair a "Lovesick Man" in Rabanastre with a wandering Viera...

And like Fallonay said, there are hints of their relationship being something more. Just cause it's not in your face about it doesn't mean it's not there. And I like that about their relationship. They're definitly NOT just friends. And in fact I find that THAT would totally ruin it.
