  • Can you send me a copy ?

  • 1:37 looks like an alien attack xD

  • wonderful!

  • This is awesome and the processing is first rate.

  • Awesome camera work!

  • the airport is awesome :))

  • How did you do those zooms?

  • @justtakeiteasy what was your interval between shots??

  • Very nice. What was your time between shots?

  • I heard these kind of time lapses are really bad for the shutter. How long have you been doing these time lapses and did your shutter ever break? Also waht kind of remote did you use?

  • nice work! and tell Horatio that I say "HI" :)

  • Very Nice working! How much pictures?

  • @Jokerapache Around 3600 if I recall correctly!

  • Absolutely stunning.

  • @retrodude666 Thanks, man. I've been dying to shoot more, but I'm back in Chicago and it's just too cold out there. Can't wait for spring!

  • this is so cool. now i want to try more at dusk and some with the moon. nifty tunes as well.

  • @natalienshawn99 It's very addicting, and gives you time to relax while the camera's chipping away. I always bring a cooler!

  • awesome job man!. whats the trick to get all ur images smooth with no flicker? u have to be on manual focus right? or is there something else.

  • @capdasejb Everything was shot on manual. That will remove flicker introduced in the auto modes compensating for changing light. The only problem is it's near impossible to shot from daylight to nighttime and have them both exposed properly on the manual setting. Some sort of automated manual settings control would be a life saver.

  • Simply amazing! did you have the canon remote shutter?

  • @Purepromedia At first it was tethered to my laptop and triggered using the EOS software. I eventually bought an intervalometer to ditch the laptop. While shooting tethered I'd only have about 3 hours before it died. My first test was done with a simple IR remote, but trying to keep it consistent was far too annoying.

  • Can you tell me what exposure settings you used to make sure that you got the planes etc.? Really beautiful, amazing work!

  • @jtansf Thanks! Everything was shot at 2.8 and if I recall correctly the plane footage was somewhere between 20-30 seconds per frame.

  • free to ues

  • what program(or programs) are you using?

  • @wingxxzero Raw batch conversion in photoshop camera raw, assembled in quicktime and edited in final cut.

  • did you have of the overheat problems with this?

  • @BZbodyboarder73 Nope, I think because they were stills, but the camera was shooting constantly for up to an hour or so on some of these. I did notice some hot pixels but no warnings or shutdowns.

  • @dreamsaremaps yeah, i bought my 7d about a month ago, and only had it over heat once, and its probablly because i was filming for 30 minutes straight in 100 degree weather under direct sunlight and in 80% humidity. Absolutely love this camera tho

  • @BZbodyboarder73 It is nice. I'm still jealous of all those 5dmkii users, but use what you got, right?

  • @dreamsaremaps 5dmkII is my dream camera. i really like my 550d.

  • it always rains in florida at the Pm

  • my god, just LOVED the buildings takes

  • @lukepaivamovie Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Those were actually the very first ones I tried! It's all about location and weather.

  • Thanks guys. The song is 34 Ghosts IV, off the Ghosts albums. They're all untitled and released under the creative commons license for free use. These are all stills, around 2000 or so. I shot in RAW, did batch RAW editing/conversion in photoshop for each scene exported to jpg. Then assembled full 18 megapixel size prores hq in quicktime, and finished them in final cut pro. I don't think any of these have After Effects on them, but I could be mistaken.

  • Awesome. What did you edit with? Were these stills strung together or HD video?

  • Its beautiful! May I ask what the name of the song is? Thanks!

  • @BaggeDNDragged90

Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts IV (song n°34 on the album Ghosts I - IV)

  • amazing!!
