204 of them were children. Among the oldest was 86 year old Katharina Albrecht (1858-1944) and among the youngest was Juditha Jantschek (1945-1945) less than a year old.

German people had lived in Pancevo for over 250 years.

These 1,214 people were all unarmed and helpless civilians, scapegoats for Hitler´s evil, inhuman crimes.

The 1,214 were only from Pancevo. All Germans throughout Yugoslavia were treated in the same way.

Those who survived were forced to leave their own country.

These foul murders were EVIL and bestial, but before you decide to hate ALL Germans,please learn the truth.These horrible executions were carried out by the German army as revenge because the Yugoslav army kidnapped and shot nine unarmed German civilians in April 1941.

Between 1944 & 1948 1,214 Yugolsav citizens, German nationality, contrary to International Law, agreed on by all allied governments, were shot, beaten,stabbed, raped and starved to death by Yugolsav "partisans"
