  • ok i know the dont ask dont tell thing isnt there anymore, but did you start you transistion before that passed. i was also in the marines and did take hormones at the same time, just for one month though. i stopped due to brest growth. it was statring to show through my cammies. how do you deal with it as far as your command?

  • @94coconut DADT doesn't do anything for trans-folk first and foremost. So even after its removal, I can still be discharged. And as far as dealing it with I just live my life. No one really pays that much attention to you believe it or not haha. And since I'm so naturally feminine anyway, I think people just go with it haha. You can tell something is going on with my chest, but unless I have my shirt off (which I don't do around people) you'd think I'd just have a nice chest.

  • @94coconut I work in a small office anyway. There's about 60 something people in my building. In my direct chain I only have 3 people. It also helps that I'm not a Marine haha. I'm Navy and we tend to be more accepting of things. I'm going to do me regardless. To be scared, is to regret later. Especially when there's really nothing to be afraid of. They would literally have to care enough first and then prove I'm on hormones. Men grow breast naturally too. Its called gynecomastia.

  • @throughneweyes those are some good points
