  • What does FHC stand for?

  • @rjc071 Flying Heritage Collection

  • Warbird Radio did a podcast about the restoration. Searching for 'Warbird Radio Presents – The FW-190 Story' should bring it up.

That engine sound is really something.

  • where is this?

  • @roaringwaterbay

    Paine Field Airport, Everett, Washington.

  • it sounds beautiful

  • Herrlich, eine 190 mit original BMW-Motor......ein toller Sound, besser als die ASH-Transportermotoren die ja auch nicht schlecht klingen.......

  • i really hope i get to see this beautiful butcher bird in person one day....these planes and WW2 have been a passion of mine most of my life

  • I want to fly one!!!

  • Excellent video! id love to see this in person one day!

  • yep the BMW801 sounds much better than those ASH´s and it fit´s so exactly tighten to the airframe....good aerodynamics.

  • Beautiful plane, thanks for the vid. As for the sound, it's fantastic to hear something that has not been heard for 60 odd years but it's no Bristol Centaurus thats for sure.

  • @TimS366 Agreed... but pretty damn good for 1942, huh?

It is not a huge radial engine but a lot of horsepower for it's time in a very tight package.

I missed the event this year, I won't miss it next.
