And always rememder this is music. as long as it sounds good its not wrong. is good man. only thing I would change is the brige part. there are some notes way outta tune. but im sure you knoe that man. peace

@darkpontobox I can read bote Musical Sheets and Tabulation, but mostly I try to learn songs completely by ear. 80% of Tabs you find online are usually wrong anyways lol.

Tabs are good ...but don't just blindly trust the Tab ..be critical ..when you're playing along your favorite track be honest to yourself ...if it sounds weird then don't be afraid to say the tab is wrong ..then fondle around till you find something that you think might sound better ...that's sort of how you start training your ears and your "feel"

@ItsMyLastDay ...nah not really. It's more about the Tone then the lower range really. Flea played the original Californication on either a Musicman Stingray or a Modulus Flea Bass ..not sure which one but they sound very similar anyways.

Hmm good observation, I should indeed refine the whole thing listening to it again makes me figure I'm off timing quite a few times, it seems that I'm waiting to see what the next tone will be and then rush into hitting it and pretend I was still on time lol.

yes, tabs=shit, it's OK but why do you play these hard stuffs if you're a beginner??? look, play easier songs for a little more time, and of course a lot of scales, because it's terrible (bad timing, bad notes, the solo part is INCREDIBLY bad:( ), but if you're practicing with EASIER songs (not RHCP!!!) you will be a great bassist i know it man!

Well what I hear everyday from my instructor is; "You need to practice hard and push yourself"

So I can assure you I can play a buttload of easy songs but I'm not gonna bother posting those on Youtube. I only post stuff that I actually had to work on. And in most cases still need to work on.

I play a more difficult song everyday, gotta push the limits!!

I don't use tabs bro, if you use tabulations you never really learn anything, so I figure all songs out by myself and am not afraid to post the findings even if they aren't perfect.

If you prefer to read from tabs then go ahead and do that, but I wont. Obviously my covers will never look like someone else's either. I do appreciate the comment tho, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Next time please do so about my playing and not about any tabs that you might have.
