I've been fishing trout this way for 20 years and trust me, it works. An inflated worm works better then a spawn bag or any artificial bait. Hands down the easiest and best way to fish trout.

@TheLittleNoRMO That's definitely not true. Conditions change. Sometimes trout will ONLY bite a specific color. There's simply no such thing as a fail-safe lure, especially when it comes to the giant 10-20-lb triploids stocked in my local Pay-lakes. There will be times where they ignore everything but a white or green worm, or a spoon.. Crawlers DO work, and they DO tempt monsters, but only when the trout want them!

guys this is the best method to me for trout fishing. but i use needles to lock in the air. just add some garlic spray or shrimp oil on the worm (or in) after you put air in it, and its a trout magnet.

Just about everyone I've talked to says that ya got inject the worm for max bouyancy. I still cant decide if I like cutting the worm in half or using it whole. A buddy of mine would thread the line through the worm with a needle so the hook just stuck out of the end. He would inject it with air after that.
