That some bankers were stupid enough to lend money to a nation as Greece that should have never been allowed to ebter the Euro nor the EU, because they thought that state bankruptcy was impossible, is beyond my imagination.

The problem is that you can't really do much about a state bankruptcy compared to when a company or a person goes bankrupt. What are going to do? force the greek to work for free? take over the country and sell it to the chinese?
