The tapping is because of hidraulic valve lifter failure...typical on any 4.0L jeep engine. Try using the "restore" additive....it has worked for me in all 4.0L jeeps I've owned.
Well it wouldn't be as loud if I kept the stock piping on there... since this video the jeep's had a few thousand miles put on it, and it's really been broken in.. Put it this way, I pulled up next to a modded out mustang the other week, and my truck drowned it out.. haha, you couldn't even hear the mustang after I hit the gas.
I'm gunna sugest a black westin brush gaurd for your jeep. It looks sick on mine and would look nice on yours too. Also gotta get a system inside man.
The tapping noise went away.. I've since done ALOT more work to the jeep, including: Intake, Plugs, T.B spacer, Synthetic oil, and soon to have a hypertech programmer.. Not too sure what It was, might have just been wear on the internals.. since I changed over to synthetic, the truck runs like it's brand new
nice, your buddy that didi the bends, I'm in mass so, where's he at?? and does he do real mandrels?? proably not,the machine to do that is like 40 thousand bucks for piping under 3 inches
if it's a shop they have them. and $40,000 is nothing when it comes to shop equipment. at my friend's shop, his boss buys new cnc-machines that cost around $200,000 every so often.
Hahaha, thanks bro. Yeah my accent is a bit boston-ish. The truck sounds even better now, the exhaust is starting to get broken in.. I'll have more vids up soon.

That tapping you first get at startup, I've got that too. I haven't been able to figure out what it is.
