i think what ultimately caused it is poor posture, they way i sit, shoes and the positon i sleep in. it falls out at least 4 times a year. kinda scary, i dont want to be the old lady with a walker and crooked back. ill try to send a video of something similar to the way i do it.
@caveNOSTRILS Maybe you should make a video on "How To Pop Your Pelvis Back" ...So I can send them to your channel. Are you doing anything to your posture, shoes and your sleep? Let me know! Maybe I can help.:-)
@StressedOutStressFre sorry, forgive me but i think i may have used the wrong terminology before. i just did some research on the area of my pain. it seems as if it is the sacroiliac joint that pops out, mainly the left side. upon further research, i recognized my hip joints get displaced too. they slip out all the time. i just didnt know the proper names. ... i think one of my legs may be slightly longer than normal. i do a lot of walking and sometimes i have an odd, duck like shuffle.i hate it
@caveNOSTRILS Are you using any height insole or wearing any special shoes to even out the shorter leg? I think the odd duck like shuffle can be fix just by doing that. It's better to correct it as early as possible. Once you get this fix, it will help your posture, the way you sit and sleep. And you'll enjoy the way you walk! :-)
yeah i was messing around one day and it just hit me. i just new it would work so i tried it and it did. i dont think it hurts but when i do it in front of people its pretty loud and they usually cringe. at first i didnt know if i should be adjusting it myself, but when it went out really bad, i had no choice but to go back to the doc. he knows mine falls out alot and asked me y i havent been in lately. thats when i told him about the self adjustment. he told me my way is acceptable to do.
@StressedOutStressFre my pelvis falls out a lot.... to the point where i can pop it back myself. only sometimes when it is really bad and i have to go to the doc. correct me if im wrong, it sounds like you have a cantonese accent?
@StressedOutStressFre i dont know what origionally caused it. its mainly my left side that falls out. to put it back, while standing up, i put most of my weight on the foot of whichever side is out while still keeping the oppsite foot to the floor. i take my left hand behind me, touching the area where spine and pelvis (?) meet and give it a push forward, all the while my right hand holding my right side in place so it doesnt move.
@caveNOSTRILS This is the first time I heard about popping the pelvis You make it sound so easy.. Did you figure out the technique yourself? Does it hurt? How often does it fall out and does it fall out with certain activity?
cute and easy
