@bestskaterdude dude I hate to break it to you but Suicide Silence features ALOT of breakdowns, which breakdowns havent started until later than metal because the people who made it a mainstream sound called it 'metalcore' music. thats a major factor in differentiating the two genres because core music is like 'a new upgrade' of metal music therefore their consistant use of breakdowns just pins them as a metalcore/deathcore band.
