Why would gas be difficult to get for this car?? Just rebuild the engine with hardened valve seats and you can run unleaded with no problem! I drive my 56' Mercury eagon with tthe original Y-block in int everyday. I had a chance to buy a Packard 400 that was sitting in a guy's yard out near Madera,CA for $2000, it didn't run,BUT, the interior and body were in really great condition! I just didn't have the money at the time, but I love my Merc!

Nice car. The Russians copied this model. They call theirs a ZIL. I bet yours is a nice cruiser.
