UFC has many more rules than Pride. In UFC, Wanderlei can't use his usual ground and pound procedure. Chuck is a better boxer, but Wanderlei is a much more rounded striker.
Really, Wanderlei said he didn't care if he won or lost before the fight. I think he just wanted to show everyone how he could take a hard punch and still keep coming. He is definitely a better technical striker than Chuck is and I think that Wanderlei did extremely good considering that he played right into Chuck's usual "counter punching" style. I've never seen anyone else even come close to knocking Chuck out when they weren't aggressive like Rampage was.
A multi-dimensional striker is always a better striker than one who just uses his hands. Any boxer in the world would get annihilated by a K-1 striker.

Wanderlei didn't give up and gave Chuck his best.. great fight especially for true fans and definitely worth every penny of PPV money..Just like in Pride with Wanderlei and Rampage, you have to Knock them TFC because they've got heart and will not give up when even bloodied, fu@@ed up.. even when cornered, Wanderlei was still landing bombs and i think Chuck figured out in late round 2 better to go for points.. after steping into a bomb that dropped him..

Royce Gracie is without a doubt, a legend, but Silva beat Sakuraba multiple times (3 or 4 times I think) as Gracie lost his first match with Sakuraba. Don't get me wrong, as Royce gracie is my second favorite fighter, I am not bringing him down, just stating the facts =).

bruce lee was a martial artist, and yes he had some street fights, but his fights were far from the movie fights scene he did, in movies he barely gets hit and every punch is avoid it by his reflexes and defense techniques, not mentioning that in a movie of course everything is planned like a dance scene, is what we liked cuz it looks great and all that but in reality we know is humanly imposible
