you must only buy this product if you the quality of martins tech support, because then its simple too exspensive ...

the Martin laser is a branded/special-designed product from german Arctos laser-company !!

the specs is 100Khz modulatet balanced 1,6W pure-white output DPSS laser system, whit the 6215 scanners !!

whit price tag off about 64K US $, it is just too expensive in my opinion !!

but still a great product :)

And by the way - in addition to my comment below... It appears that they are running Pangolin as their host program. Most of the frames/graphics I recognize.

Pangolin is the best software you can buy. There are others, yes - but nothing comes close to Pangolin.

You can build them for more than 70% less. That's what I did. Just buy the laser heads directly from the manufacture. You'd be surprised how inexpensive they really are.

if anyone builds one from scratch that can make the same effects like multiple color starbursts as shown at 2:20, then i'd be impressed.

you'd need really accurate timing with the XY mirror and on/off flagging system to do that. most self made white lasers i've seen can only do one color at a time.

martin knows what they're doing. i'd drop the 60k if i had the money.

It's actually quite easy. Your cheap, inexpensive, less than $2,000 Chinese projector on eBay won't be able to do that. Nearly ALL of them are TTL and have slow 8k/10k scanners with crap mirrors.

Argon/Krypton lasers can do so many colors it isn't funny. PCAOM's run at MHz bandwidth. You can cycle through roughly a few million colors in less than 2 seconds...thereby creating the effect you see at 2:20. Our eyes can't process things that quickly, so it appears constant.
