Oh my goodness this horse is having a blast with his bull friend. We have cows and horses living together. One of our pony stallions lives with cows for company and they enjoy one another's company. You said the bull's horns are blunt so he can't accidentally hurt the horse. Horses can hurt horses during play to but it doesn't mean we should separate them.

If you see prancing and relaxed movements and ears sideways and a swiging back, you see a relaxed horse, and there's no way you can force that. second, if you had ever owned a border colie dog or a lusitano horse you'd know just how stong their genes are. A lusitano colt always whants to tease cattle the same way a border collie whants to gather sheep without any training!

Who can't read horses? The horse is clearly playing, not running in terror. A terrified horse wouldn't be moving with that calm, relaxed demeanor, nevermind coming back to the bull and leaning up near those horns.

ANY person with 2 fingers of experience with colts can tell the kid is having a blast toying around with the bull and ANYone who's even owned a Lusitano colt knows how they simply LOVE to tease cattle from a very young age! mine teased calves all his life loose in the pasture. He wouldn't stop till the calf charged at him and he made a fool of them

My favorite is where the bull stops and shakes, and then the horse does the same- GREAT video of a horse that obviously LOVES his job. Too bad the bulls in "real" bull fighting don't get to enjoy it like this one does!!!

What a wonderful horse and bull! They are having such a good time playing together and both are being careful not to hurt the other. That bounding run of the bull when he is chasing the horse shows he is really having a great time playing. Just beautiful to watch - thank you.

I don't think the horse is afraid... there is one time when the horse and the bull get really close and they jump to opposite directions, like they're trying not to hurt each other.

I don't think that. I'm not sure, but the horse don't seems to be effrayed, or angry. It has his ears straight and not to the back (I don't know if you understand, I have a very approximativ english...).

To my mind, it's more a game than a "war"..I said that because I read a lot of books on the horse attitude (with another horse in a fight) and I don't recognize an agressive attitude.

@epiphone12345678999 have you ever seen horses play? did you know horses are social animals, they can be friends and socialize with just about any animal, even chimps. Horses can have cattle as companions. and Bulls are not really that agresive, unless they feel treathened and whatnot, you can clearly see that these two animals are happy. and it seems as if the one that can't "read" horses is someone else.

@epiphone12345678999 You say that we do not read horses well, yet you do not notice that the horse doesn't seem frightened - he is strutting around ( for lack of better word for it), his ears are pricked, and he is coming at the bull. If he was scared he would be running flat out, his ears would be pinned back, and he would be making use of that large pen he is kept in. He would be trying his best to get away from the bull, and would be at the other end of his enclosure. Get a better education.

The horse instigates, prances, and relaxes. The horns are blunt and the bull does not take the many chances he had to actually hurt the horse and vise verse. No major goring nor kicks and bites. They are clearly playing. Don't assume bulls are monsters. People make them monsters. In anything the colt is pestering the old bovine, who first tolerates and then plays with him. It's like watching a kitten and pit bull play. Many people 'know' their animals and can enjoy it.
