agreed. Larry Foote and Louis Delmas are a couple heavy hitters to build that defense around, and the D-Line showed up in that game. This game Sunday is winnable, and we CAN go to Chicago and pull out a W as well. Everything goes well, we could be bat at .500 ball in a couple weeks. Want to see Pettigrew more involved in the offense, that screen Linehan called to him was a great call, that's a big boy to try stopping in space with blockers...def want to see more of that.
lol i was only jking don't worry chill i hope detorit does well that city been through enough. i actually love the cowboys to go 0-16 but sadly that dream died week 1 but i hope stafford has good carrer and ur team do well except when they play the giants ^_^
Well the Lions had the Vikings on the ropes. The Lions needed to learn to finish because they had a awesome first 2 quarters and fell apart the last 2. Stafford missed a wide-open WR (B. Johnson) that had no one near him and could have given the Lions a momentum boost. But either way, the Lions should feel that they did a better job in week 2 and take that for what it is and hopefully beat the Redskins next week and the Bears the following week.
That's how I'm looking at it. We "can" beat the Skins, and am confident against the Bears, even on the road. If we can manage that we'll be at .500 1/4 through. If Stafford begins to mature here pretty quick, and we can stay healthy [Sims is down, but Levy looked good in the preseason and has serious speed] who knows, right?
The Lions played hard. I was actually impressed with the effort that they displayed...but in the end they just don't have the experience and leadership to close out ball games. That'll come with time...
There's plenty of Vikings fans you got midwestsportstalker, speedfreak, peterplaysbass, purpleinwisconsin, and a few others. oh yeah, I shouldn't forget myself!
