  • nice work!

    just a few pointers..

if you use a carbide burr to remove 85% then a stone or paper roll it will be faster an will not heat the work peace up as the burr cuts material away

lifting the file on the back stroke will make it last longer

  • Metal on fire!

  • i like both the long videos and compiled ones.

  • if you're going to put a shourd on top of the case then why dont you just use a jigsaw?

  • @bdkaka When there's a "why'dcha do it that way?" My usual reason is because I do commissioned mods, so I follow my work order. Client work order says: make 3 perfect circles in the top. I say WTF? He says LOL NVM just demesh and file it out but leave the parts that go across. So I do. And that's why.

Could the top be cut with a jigsaw? If you properly support it and use sacrificial material it could, but if you just start gnawing away with the jump-up-and-down saw you will beat it up.

  • Great vid keep the awesome mods coming!

  • ya one big video instead of a bunch of 1.5/2 min ones... lol at your dremel
