um, no offense or anything, but the notes you wrote up there aren't the correct ones. I have the book, and it starts with a C. You play really good though, and you have a sharp and clear sound. I play the flute in my grade seven band, and we're doing Pirates for our performance...lol...Great Work!

@PennyXXSam Well, I just figured it out from the music, and the music sounded like it started with an A, so I played an A. :) idk, that's pretty weird that it "officially" starts with a C....don't know if the book has a different key, or if.....idk. Oh well. :P

Okay, well, I've tried to make annotations for the notes, but something is wrong with YouTube.....again..... :P I won't go into details, but basically, I can't make any annotations. Lots have other people have experienced the same problem and YouTube is trying to fix the problem. I'll put them on as soon as it works......not quite sure how long that will be, but I will! The flute and violin both play in treble clef. So the notes are the same for both.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by "transition".... When you say "at the end of the first line," are you talking about the D C C D notes at the end there?.............

Okkie dokkie: What I would recommend is fingering D (the last note of the first line) to A (the first note of the second line) a whole bunch of times to form a habit within your fingers. This'll make the transition easier....I think. :D
