@WavieeAlex Because this is more like an actual Resident Evil game. RE5 is NOT Resident Evil, but it's a pretty good action game with decent co-op. RE2 and RECV are TRUE Resident Evil games. This rail shooter is a different way of playing through those games. If you're looking for a RE5 experience, avoid this game. This is mostly for true RE fans and fans of rail shooters. Or maybe a Wii owner that's just looking for something a bit darker and more mature than most Wii games.

Ugh. I've played this PoS, and it's an embarrassment to the original franchise, almost as much as RE5 is. No current RE title I've played since RE4 has been any good, they're all washed up wanna-be FPS games that try to be as great as RE4. Not to mention that guy talking pissed me off just spewing out what corporate told him to say about the game.

Hopefully the original creator/director for the RE games, who is said to be getting back on board for the next RE title, will fix this mess.

The darkside chronicles is a prequel to RE2, and it happens at the same time as RE C:V. The Umbrella chronicles details what happened from 1998 to 2003 from the perspective of Umbrella corp. Hope I helped!
