I always liked the GoldenEye sequence. It meant the beginning of an evolution for Bond.

Random thoughts:

Lazenby's makes the most sense from a tactical perspective. He drops into a prone position and turns his body so there's a smaller target.

Connery jumps out of the way in his first few gunbarrels.

Moore looks like he's trying too hard - first he swings the gun so hard he has to use his arm to steady himself, then he half-heartedly raises his gun.

Dalton's LTK barrel is my personal favorite.

The CG'd Die Another Day barrel is the worst one by a mile.

Casino Royale was the best!!! They did gr8 the way they put the gunbarrel sequence as part of the story. Quantum of Solace was good in terms of the music. Fast and more in time with the gunbarrel sequence. All of Craig's 007 films were the best. Except QoS could have done way better. Casino Royale ROCKS!!! Daniel Craig... U ROCK!!!

From an orchestrated point of view, I do much prefer the Bond Theme in the new films, such as Quantum of Solace. It sounds very thick and rich. Unfortunatley in this video the sound quality for QOS is not too good, but at the cinema and on DVD it sounds amazing! :)

Connery and Lazenby are the best ones, they walk and shoot on a much elegant way then any other. Morre and Simmons are really lousy, Simmons makes some silly jump and moore are to slow but his shoots covers up with some though music. Craigs are good but they really show that they have rebooted the series.

It's a remarkable transition and enchangement from that gunbarrel on "License to Kill" to "Goldeneye". Pierce Brosnans gunbarrels are the best, because of the good quality, no waving with arms, fast and tough. But Roger Moore and Sean Connery are still the best James Bonds. Don't like that Daniel Craig seems to be in a hurry and that he's so constrained in his last gunbarrel, QOS. Wellwell. and btw, "Never Say Never Again" doesn't count. It's unofficial.
