  • Very interesting,thanks......

  • @kuukeli375 HaHaHa!! lol

  • hey I made one of these live traps the other day and I havent caught a thing.

Ive been using peanutbutter, nuts, lettuce, and carrots for squirels and rabbits but nothing!!!

    any tips?

  • @gootch420 I would try setting the trap in a place with lots of animals. lol. hope this helps.

  • @gootch420

Did you catch anything yet? sometimes human scent can scare away animals, Often times modern wood uses glues and so forth, that are not found in nature and so there smell can make animals wary too

  • @gootch420 ... Use old wood if possible. If you use an apple, make sure you rub the apple around the door opening.

  • @golfer393 if you rub the apple around the opening of the trap, the animal will bite or lick the front and make the set trigger

  • cool vid kid can u show in more detail how the trip system works, thx

  • Make a video on how to make one.

  • it shouldnt be covered all sides cause then when you catch the rabbit it might be to scared and die, and i know you dont want that to happen do you! so take the wood off the sides and attach chiken wire!

  • @thehorsefreak2010 this wasnt ever used to catch anything!! So, yeah.

  • great trap for a lot of critters ,,I have a pesty fast moveing armadillo digging holes everywhere ,,,wrecking my wormbeds for garden ,,bet this trap will catch it !! Thanks for reminding me about this old box trap style ,,I also had them on the farm years ago ,,Had a horse freak out over a rabbit wandering into its stall and kick the wall out from fright , horses spook easy ,,like mice spook elephants and sometimes pigs !! these traps work great ,thanks for loading

  • Yep,I used to have a half a dozen at least when I was a kid about your age,we called them rabbit boxes back then,it was a good way to save money by putting meat on the table, plus Id sell rabbits to a resturant in town every once and awhile,Ive still got one out in my shed,I see the design aint changed.Oh yea,the best bait for rabbit Ive found is a quarter piece of apple.Good luck!
