IPL will be telecast live in all countries of the world except the US as already mentioned by Lalit Modi, in an interview. In the US it is supposed to be shown with a 15 min lag.

Many online sources say that YouTube streaming of the IPL 2010 will not be visible in the United States, others say it will be visible with a five-minute delay. I was not sure what was true until I checked Modi's Twitter:

Does not make sense for IPL to give brdcast rights to Direct & Willow and then have Youtube brdcast after 5 mins. Cricinfo -ipl-news - clearly states US will not have live or 5 min delay but Youtube will have rebroadcast rights. Which to me means after the match is over.

Yes you're right and its important that young Indian talent is given preference where possible over international players. But as Pakistani's are to be considered Internationals the same as Sri Lankans and Bangladeshi's and Kiwi's and Aussies etc etc it does seem strange to have an IPL without stars like Umar Akmal and Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul in the future based purely on the country they are from.
