I'm surprised at all this talk of Norah covering Patsy Cline's song.. This is one of the most widely sung love songs in history. You get to a point where yet another person does a rendition of a song.. they add their version to the large body of people showing respect for the music. It's a bit like saying a particular orchestra has done a cover of Beethoven. Norah Jones, of course, does it well. She is a consummate musician and does everything well. How could you not love her work?

Hi, i only know folklore about Patsy Cline...i am also a huge fan of Norah's and have been since early 2002...Norah gives her all in this, but just one listen to the original and there is no comparison. Some songs are just penned for specific people and "Crazy" was penned for Mrs Cline. All Norah can hope to do is try and do the old legend proud, which she does. Patsy was easily the songbird of her generation. Norah is the songbird of ours.
Not a fan of this version of the song. Just seems off to me for some reason - and not just that it's not Patsy, nobody will equal Patsy, as Norah herself knows. Norah is ridiculously talented and insanely beautiful, but nobody bats 1.000.
There are very few singers that can sing Patsy Cline! Kelly Clarkson and Norah Jones are the only 2 new pop/blues singers that can . Much respect for tryin and succeeding.
What's not to love about this performance? Norah is fantastic and Willie loves her work. Why must some folks make these recordings a competition? Yes, Patsy "owns the song" we all know that -- that's 50 years ago. Now, today, this young performer puts her stamp on it. We love 'em both and today Norah is carrying the "Crazy" torch for us all to enjoy . . . totally different arrangement from back in the day. Pretty neat that Willie's old song has stood the test of time better than most, huh?

The song is a good one, very rich in music and lyrics. There are many renditions of it but this one with Norah and the instruments underlying her singing are superb. To further add to the enlightening experience is the collage of pictures, well selected and varied enough to make it easy to see her, hear her and wonder over her beauty. Well done.

The song is a good one, very rich in music and lyrics. There are many renditions of it but this one with Norah and the instruments underlying her singing are superb. To further add to the enlightening experience is the collage of pictures, well selected and varied enough to make it easy to see her, hear her and wonder over her beauty. Well done.
