I've seen Dragonforce live...they don't suck at all.. and how about you go from playing a solo at 200 bpm and then do the packman sound perfectly and go right back into a facemelting solo at 200bpm again...get your facts straight too.. sam totman (other guitarist) is the one who writes 90% of the music, he's the better guitarist. If you think the solo's they write aren't impressive than your just being ignorant sorry... Tired of people constantly bashing them..

light (.60mm) picks make it sound very scratchy and bright, while heavy picks (1.08 mm) make it more monotonous and deeper imo

I did not say I didn't like it. At first I did when I first heard TTFAF (go figure) then when I heard a few other songs of his I recognized a lot of parts that are repeated.

But you are absolutely right that the majority of death, black, death (etc.) metal being no good because a lot of those musicians stay with palm muting, and power chords, they don't expand or test musical boundaries.
