First off I'd like to say I'm white, and I have this unexplained curly hair almost like yours but I have soo much frizz it drives me nuts!! What do I do with it? When you are in the shower applying the deep conditioner, do you comb your hair through? and also the ends of my hair are very straight :( its hard to get the same results. If I have split ends do you think that could cause to the frizziness or for my hair not coming out the way I want it to
Love mixed leave-in conditioner, and the deep conditioner. I have been these products for 2 1/2 years. Now I mix the leave-in conditioner with Shea Moisture enchancing smoothie or Curls in Bottle. They work wonderful together.

Can you magnify it under a microscope and inspect the structure? I'm going to go out on a limb here and surmise that no, you cannot. I think she knows her hair texture a bit better than you do...Coarseness is completely exclusive of volume, thickness or shape of the hair strand...
Her hair REALLY isn't course. In fact, most curly hair is not which is why it tends to be so prone to frizz. Sadly, Mixed Chicks is a terrible product for my very thick mixed hair. It weighs it down terribly, promotes greasiness, and actually creates frizz. I recommend using a mixture of Ouidad products for weightless hold. Mousse also seems to be key. I use Pantene mousse for curls.
Being black and part puerto rican, my hair was ALWAYS tough to do. 1 minute wavy, another minute AFRO! This product saved my hair! No more braiding to get the waves!

When I was younger my hair was very beautiful and curly until one day my aunt permed my hair and since then my hair has been a diaster. It's lost it's natural curly texture, thickness, and strenght. Never perm curly hair -____-

My mom got that alot from people when i was younger cause she did not know what to do with my hair. But i found out about this product all on my own, ordered it and its a LIFE SAVIOR! honestly i was just wearing ponytails for the longest time cause i did not know what products to use for my hair to elimnate the frizz. yes, mixed chicks can be used on relaxed hair. it will not bring curl back, but it will manage frizz and moisture levels until your relaxer grows out.
Wow, she has the same hair type thing as I do. Not the same texture, but like her, my roots are straighter than the rest of my hair, which is kinda weird. My root hair doesn't even match. The rest is all curly. I'm a little nervous for when my hair grows out, because it's going to be flat and straight at the root, and then these curly bushy ends.lol

Yeh my hair is soo thick and have really tight curls so it looks short when its wet and its long when its straightened. i want to try your product because i am multi racial all the american stuff u know.
white, mexican and of coarse black.
I want to try your product but it is really hard to find locally (i live in Michigan) Detroit area, i went to a salon and they sold me Miss Jessica and i Hated it. it was stickey and cakey. i really love your hair so maybe i can order on-line and im so glad that u made a video for us mixed chic's. thank u

I hate my ethnic hair it's so smooth I can't even pull it back and keep it pulled I'm a guy and I wish I could get coarser hair.

For those of you saying her hair isn't coarse or thick you may be wrong. You never really can tell until its dry..I have thick hair but mine is flat when wet.

mixed chicks does not provide me with enough definition and hold but is still a great product i have two of the jumbo tubs. i always need to use a gel after :( and i have 3b hair i think similar to yours

Thank you soooo much for this product.. I went out and bought shampoo, deep conditioner, and leave-in conditioner...my hair looked awesom...everyone had such good feedback; they talked about the cost and how crazy I was for paying so much on shampoo but it was worth every penny...love ya'll :)

My mom got that alot from people when i was younger cause she did not know what to do with my hair. But i found out about this product all on my own, ordered it and its a LIFE SAVIOR! honestly i was just wearing ponytails for the longest time cause i did not know what products to use for my hair to elimnate the frizz. THe only downfall about this product is that it is soo oily on my hair and weighs it down but at least it does not frizz and is not sticky and hard like other products

I am NOT a mixed chick.
I am black with 4a type hair and I'm transitioning. So while I am growing my perm out I am using MC products and they DO work for us as well.
I use it to moisturize my hair and I love it.
It is def. a staple product.
Don't be discouraged or confused non-mixed chicks and ladies with 4a/4b type hair. You can use it as well. Trust me.lol.

I use perms. Had them since I was 8 in my hair (now 16) my hair wont get curly like it used to be it just frizzes out and my hair is SERIOUSLY thick it takes me forever just to straigten it. Do you think there is a way I can get it curly. My hair only curls (seriously curls) around the back of my head. I love staright hair but after awhile i would like to just go natural and make it easier. Would you be able to possibly help? Thanxzzzzzzzz mucho!

@Superhero66 I am Black/WHite I have constant problems with my hair. It gets so knotty and tangled, split ends, frizzy, and dry. SO mostly I JUst keep it in a pony tail. It's plain and boring. I need other options :[ PLease help

yes, mixed chicks can be used on relaxed hair. it will not bring curl back, but it will manage frizz and moisture levels until your relaxer grows out.

Wow, she has the same hair type thing as I do. Not the same texture, but like her, my roots are straighter than the rest of my hair, which is kinda weird. My root hair doesn't even match. The rest is all curly. I'm a little nervous for when my hair grows out, because it's going to be flat and straight at the root, and then these curly bushy ends.lol

o thank you. I am gonna try your products sometime. I used to HATE my curly hair and my mom saw it as a problem and she didn't know how to do it and said it was always tangly and frizzy. I used to end up straightening it. It took a lot of years and experimenting and I have learned ways to fix it. I love my curl NOW that I know how to take care of it. it's easy and pretty. im glad ppl like you are steppin up and saying curly hair is pretty instead of society deeming it as a problem!

Yeh my hair is soo thick and have really tight curls so it looks short when its wet and its long when its straightened. So just do a whole bunch of twists and let it dry..hmm im afraid my hair will get really fizzy if i do that. =[ i just cant ever find the right products and my hair is really healthy..just hard to work with when its not straight =/

YAY I FINALLY FOUND MY HAIR TEXTURE!!!!!! But I have a problem while my hair is drying i tend to move my head alot so the back like draws up and the front hangs to the side kinda like an inverted bob and i hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But i shower in the morning put in my product then leave for school
