  • I think i had a cyst rupture on my left ovary.. though I don't know for sure..one day i came back from a course, cooked souped and had a small tummy ache.. which was normal for me as i was hungry.. i was still cooking the soup and the pain started to get worse, i sat down to eat in discomfort then suddenly i had to put my bowl down, the pain was so much I couldnt bear it.. I have palindromic rheumatism so im used to most pains, how ever i struggled with this

  • @Leebsterftw continuded: I live with my brother and i told him.. take me to emergency.. the pain was so horrible. by the time i got there though the pain was gone.. after urine tests and blood tests they told me to go home come back another day for an ovary screening.. did that..nothing showed up.. did more urine and blood tests.. and was sent home.. i was having tingles of pain still.. i saw my GP and he said there was nothing wrong.. but ever since then ive had an abnormal swell

  • @Leebsterftw continued: sorry!! so ive had this bloated swell and sometimes a feeling of a menstrual pain.. when im not near or haven't just finished my cycle.. doctors wont do anything.. i still dont know what it is/was.. im 25 years old and want to know what it is and how do i get rid of the swell on the left side of my stomach. doctors are not always helpful.. sadly :( thanks if anyone read this and is able to help

  • Sorry, this told me danged near nothing

  • I had a ruptured ovarian cyst. The pain is unbearable! After recovering from the operation i asked the doctor how to prevent ovarian cysts in the future and she said you cant! You just have to leave them alone unless they rupture! I think thats so stupid..

  • @nikkianneforde ) it is stupid and also not true. the cysts form in the first place due to hormonal imbalances. the only way to correct that is through healthy eating and lifestyle.

  • @nikkianneforde

Yes I know! I have had 2 ruptured cysts and they are so painful!!

I find it very hard to believe that there is nothing that can be done to prevent them occurring again but my doctor said the same thing. I find it frustrating that I basically just have to wait for it to happen again.

As for a previous comment that said it is down to lifestyle and healthy eating I totally disagree.

I am one of the healthiest people I know, and I still have had ruptured cysts. Total Crap.
