The Feature movie reboot and retcon of the Chipmunks didn't do this song justice.
I have one of the original 45rp Liberty pressings of this record. The flip side is a non-Chipmunk recording of THAT'S ALMOST GOOD.
The record is also the soundtrack of the first Chipmunk cartoon, leaving off the climax where the Christmas Tree falls over in the big fight !

My high school plays this every morning over the P.A system during all of December. It's fun for the first week, but eventually you end up SPRINTING to class to avoid the ear bleeding. I still love Alvin though, but in small, spread out doses.
